Re:Making Peace with Your Unlived Dreams on Monday June 08, 2026 @11:08AM (#48446367)
Reading many comments here, I feel like there is a dimension to dreams that hasn't been emphasised enough: community/social dreams.

Post-COVID, I made an conscious effort to be more social, and take on more community activities, like doing Improv, making games for friends, and attending conferences just for fun.

By doing that, my dreams have become more of a broad North star: "I wish to keep investing in my community (family and friends, old and new), understand those around me, and thus myself".

Like others said, it's a qualitative difference when dreams are more of a path, rather than a destination.

Fantastically illustrated and interactive article! I wonder if/how Tailwind will grow to adapt this, as I'm pretty happy with their abstractions now.

Indeed, and I think the point here is giving the feeling of architectural subversion to the player/audience, which both Die Hard and Deus Ex achieve.

It seems that charts exist as part of their blocks offering:

https://airtable.com/blocks

But only for customers in the Pro tier.

Their world did end for those 80 million people.

If most of society dies in pain and hunger to climate change, would the survivors say "bah, just more fear mongering"?

For me, humanity is the sum of human experiences, not the mere presence of the species. The end of the world being relative and analog.
