Re:Type Server Protocol

I thought workspace/symbol returns an unstructured payload wrapped w/ some metadata.
Since the format is unspecified I imagine many language servers would just return a string representation of the type, which in Python is a PITA to parse because not every type has a closed-form representation (overloaded callable types, for example, have to be declared as a protocol).

Right now it's specific to Python but I think there are other languages w/o an official type checker that might benefit.
PHP, Erlang, Ruby, etc.

No, it's a separate forge. You can choose to mirror repos between Github and Origin, but you can also have repos on just Origin and w/ no dependency on Github.

If you scroll down, most of the charts on that page are sorted s.t. Mistral's bar is right next to the worst competitor model, while the best competitor model's bar is positioned on the opposite side.
If one were to be cynical one could say that it's intentionally making Mistral's result look better than it actually is by making it harder to compare the bar heights.

I'm not impressed, it's an AI-generated apology. A quick skim of their code or commit history makes that obvious that this project's development methodology was clearly flawed, and only someone who turned their brain off would have advertised those results in the first place.

Machine-checked documentation is always valuable, IMO
