That's incredible. Why even compare your startup to for-profits, while you actually make world a better place?

Technologies:

- Python, Golang

- FastAPI, Django

- PostgreSQL, MongoDB

15+ years of experience building backend systems across varying problem domains and tech stacks, in big companies and startups. I've set up machine learning pipelines, managed big data with Hadoop and orchestrated swarms of microservices in Golang with Kubernetes.

Lately, I'm all into AI: RAG systems, chatbots, agentic frameworks, all that jazz.

Product-wise I can help you choose the right tech stack for the problem, develop and drive your product in the right direction, lean style.

Ask HN: Is Supabase suitable/ready for a real life chat application?

I chose Flutter+Supabase as a tech stack to build kinda Slack clone. There are plenty of simplistic examples of real-time chat apps with Supabase, but I wonder if anyone had success with it in real life scenarios with any substabtial userbase (say, 1k+ active users online).Another thing that I'm concerned about is whether I would be able to run it as a self-hosted app.

Re:Ask HN: 0/30 in the job hunt. Is this typical? on Monday January 22, 2018 @05:05AM (#16203238)
I think you underestimate the destructive impact of 30 failed interviews. Stepping back and just doing algorithms for some time might be a good thing to do at this point.

Re:Ask HN: Do you use LinkedIn? on Friday January 20, 2017 @12:02PM (#13445125)
No. It's blocked in Russia.

Basically what you say is: Russia is not a free country and thus its views should not be represented. That definitely what "freedom of speech" is not about.
Re:Ask HN: Anyone interested in connecting with a mentor? on Friday September 23, 2016 @09:49AM (#12564556)
I'm interested in becoming a mentee. Right now I'm about to launch a call center SaaS on top of twilio (I'm a developer) and would appreciate any help/advice.

Yeah, I noticed a trend: startups looking for devs with extensive ml and highload experience to build their first prototype. They plan to grow rapidly, thats why.

How come a startup that has not even launched yet (http://planpenny.com/) made its way to the top?

"The price of the cryptocurrency bitcoin surged on Wednesday to its highest in more than a year amid a wave of Chinese testimonials for a “social financial network” called MMM, which bears the hallmarks of a pyramid scheme."
