Christianity spread around the middle east and southern Europe before English existed, but not to the degree it is now.
Missionaries spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They were and are fulfilling the Great Commission:
Matthew 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Shalom. The mask itself would not be expired, but the filters would be. The mask itself is only subject to dry rot unless it's stored in it's bag out in the elements. If you have it in a trunk or a closet, it's likely still good. You can order filters online.
Nothing at all wrong with the IDF or Israel. I happily support my Jewish brothers and sisters buy buying Israeli-made goods.
If you're working in a terminal, all you need to take notes is vi or emacs. No need to complicate things.

Not that it's much, but just yesterday I shucked my freshly-paid-for Verizon iPhone 7 Plus for a T-Mobile iPhone 8. I realize it doesn't make a dent in the issue, but Verizon has become bad news for consumers who care about the issue.
I've long thought about setting up a service that people can connect to with their mobiles or other devices (who don't want or can't root) that basically sanitizes their connection: strips out ads, beacons, tracking cookies, etc.
Or, set up virtual desktops that people can connect to that also use VPNs that could allow people to originate their traffic from a given region.
I'm primarily interested in created a sanitized stream more than anything. People have a right to surf without being tracked.
I don't get it. If you're in IT in any role, you know this is happening. I install zero apps on my iPhone. I don't need them. Banking and other secure things are more properly done on a desktop or laptop running some form of
nix with proper security in place.I would never access my bank or other secure website with crucial information via a mobile phone. Call me an anachronism should you wish, but I've never had the tracking worries or data leak worries others do.
On my nix desktops, I block all ads, all tracking cookies, no third-party cookies, I whitelist my bank and Fastmail account for cookies, and I block coin mining, HTML canvassing, HTTP/S referrer, CSS history lookups, and so much more. In addition, I surf through a VPN. Why risk it?
No one using the BSDs? I'm considering moving some servers over to run FreeBSD because of ZFS and just overall better documentation and OS consistency.

Just curious as to who uses the BSDs and for what purpose. Are the BSDs declining in overall use or still the preferred OS for the old-school UNIX hacker?
