Superabundance is within reach. But ironically, the precondition to getting it is by giving it up. It sounds paradoxical, but this is actually the key to the next great leap in human evolution. I set this out with a rigorous scientific framework in my new paper on the Planetary Phase Shift.

The billionaire is a disrupter by nature. His refusal to accept that meat production is in need of an overhaul is out of character. A radicalisation by his own platform or a vested interest?

Unfolding conflict across Israel, Gaza, Lebanon and Iran is not just a regional breakdown, but a global systemic rupture in the context of the planetary phase shift as industrial civilisation moves through the last stages of its life-cycle.

GMOs and biotechnology more broadly are simply tools, neither good or bad. Genetic modifications happens naturally in organisms, for repair or simply exchange of material. Biotechnology takes advantage of that. In the right hands and with the right intentions they are and could continue to be a very useful tool in our fight against climate change. Kurzgesagt is such a great channel, I highly recommend.

Came across this on webregreen.org and the figures truck me as very high. However the author does make a compelling case on Opportunity Cost and GWP calcs.

Food for Profit not only discloses the horror of intensive farms and the political corruption behind it, but with a pool of international experts, it tackles and analyses the many problems related to factory farming: from water pollution to exploitation of migrants and from biodiversity loss to antibiotic resistance.
