Didn't Figma start out as a drone company? Compared to that a lot of these seem like reaches
Anecdotal but I checked my nostrils and I was currently only breathing out of my left. Not sure if thats regular for me
Do you seriously not think that playing a sport requires control of your entire body? Have you ever tried to actively improve at a sport? Everything from basketball to golf is fine muscle control from the lowest to highest levels.
Some people cant see their own bias I guess. :)
This is a great article! It's cool to see people get into the habit of growing their own food. I've been tinkering with hydroponics for a while now and a micro indoor garden is by far the best use and easiest to maintain for the average person.
Anything above the leafy green category is going to need some serious lighting and maintenance. Algae growth is a serious problem with setups like these (especially if you aren't going with a purchased kit) and it is very easy to lose your plants to over/under watering and ph/nutrient imbalances.
This is my favourite youtuber who does hydroponics, he gives a pretty realistic view of the hobby (also the videos are hilarious): https://www.youtube.com/c/JebGardener/featured
You're right, they've been at it for a year already. Probably why the app isn't banned yet
Oh god this poor guy had to sell his boat since square decided to hold a portion of his transactions (well within their right).
The claims that square is not trying to help small businesses is just bullshit though. They've helped a lot of businesses get loans when they couldn't from the major banks and have also released a lot of new features to support contact free sales.
Whats your internet speed like? In most place in the world your best bet is going to be to buy some hard drives and ship them.
He said that "didn't have potential for abuse", I think the situation you gave defines abuse. Tracking everyone to catch one person is not acceptable in my opinion.
I'm not personally an IOS developer but it sounds like a really obvious solution to the problem. I'm assuming Apple isn't this dumb
If they host their own ad server couldnt they just advertise their own application, linking to the website where the user would be able to find the real price?
Would apple be able to tell what content they are serving? Is that still against the ToS?
The one click start up point makes a lot of sense for Frontend developers! Auto installing a DB in the same command you use to run the app is pretty dumb though. What if I just want to point my instance at staging for testing? Now I have to have docker installed
I work remotely out of Kitchener for a SF company. Don't get paid the san fran dollars obviously but the quality of life and cost of living is great
Can Facebook fuck off with closing the current tab I am in whenever I click one of their links? Sometimes undoing the closed tab doesn't work and there is no way to recover my previous tabs history.
This has gotten so annoying and used to be things we only expected from spam sites
If anyone took a second to read any of this lady's other content, she seems like quite the special flower. Not saying that I disagree with her that you don't need to know everything to be a programmer but she also blatantly lies in the article.
I poked through her github and she definitely knows how to write css. Articles like this make people feel alright with complacency, it's fine to be an okay or new programmer but you should always be trying to improve what you are doing.
