I’m about to embark on the solo founder journey and I wanted to get feedback from others who have experience starting companies in the Web3/ Blockchain/ DeFi space - what resources actually helped you? Obviously there’s tons of resources out there, but which ones in particular did you find helped you learn the industry, regulations, file the paperwork & take care of...
So you want your kid to triage some bugs? LOL
Contrast. Use white text on dark colored buttons & controls
JetBrains IDEs are all the same program just bundled with different language plugins. It would be like if you called VSCode by a different code name depending on which combination of extensions you had installed.
I just use Google lens in the Google mobile app for this because the price is right
hopefully your brain provides this function already!
Isn’t huge profits the definition of success in capitalism? As a capitalist society shouldn’t there be cheers instead of complaining? This part I don’t understand about American culture.
Thank you for your inspirational words comrade. You are a beacon of hope for all workers of the revolution.
Soviet Labor Committee has a place for you and all others! In fact we need 10,000 laborers to construct a new datacenter. Please report with a set of warm clothes.

Listen to Flying Lotus while working on your Flying Lotus FTW
Has HN just become a lazy “Google News” clone with no images? You can read about celebrities dying on any site.

Something to consider: Don't register to vote. Might seem counterintuitive but your address is publicly available if you do. Too bad since voting seems important, but not more important than personal privacy if you are in a similar situation.
Committing code to open source projects is always going to be a stronger example of work than a personal project. It shows you can work with other people, and handle feedback and make changes through the development cycle.

When China & India form an alliance and send a peace keeping army to protect the former citizens of the fallen American Empire Megacorp, then the American public might have reason to have regrets about AI. But until then it’s just another distraction.
WSJ would be banned without an anti pay wall link
In my experience, it doesn't matter what skills or experience you have in tech, it is only your interviewing skills that count in the getting-a-new-gig game. Start doing interviews anywhere you don't want to work, just for practice, then after your have done 10-20 of those, move on to the places you actually want to work for. YMMV
Bit of a click bait title there.
Sure people love records because they sound good and you can touch them.
From a general perspective sound waves are captured and retransmitted by any music format but fundamentally each medium has a separate experiential dimension which of course can’t be captured by the casual desk journalist.
Tangentially related, this idea of fast and performant digital technology unfortunately does not apply to in-car touchscreens which are slow and personally I hate and consider them dangerous.
