I use a little mnemonic phrase... tar dash eXtract Zee Files (tar -xzf)

and

tar dash Compress Zee Files (tar -czf)

Yes, the z does nothing when extracting. But it helps me remember.

I'll look into lowering the version requirement

I will definitely be updating icons in the near future, I'm hoping to have a few sets that users can choose between.

Do you think thats a product of people solving their own problem, then expanding into fixing the issue for pretty much everyone (a la heroku)? Or is it just projects that have that larger vision?

Interesting, I like the tagline quite a bit. Fits with the concept quite well: Make sure you stay true to what you set out to do even after you've made it.

Please feel free to give me feedback. I made it as a tool for keeping track of my own manifesto and thought there might be some use outside of my own needs.

I'm not seeing what its for either. Firefox 5 on Win 7. Not only do I not know what the site is supposed to do, I also can't figure out what flipstorm does as there is no description of the company without going out to one of the social media sites linked at the bottom.
