P2P is not the answer. It may work for the 1% (popular videos), but for the 99% it does not provide a viable alternative for on-demand content... I don't want to wait 5 hours for a 3 year old how-to video to stream from a single seed with limited upload capacity :(.

E.g. Look at torrents. Popular ones are readily available, but obscure or old torrents will be lucky to have a single seed.

I have to agree. With the mass information dump everyday from news outlets, it's sometimes hard to put it into the perspective of "how does this affect me?".

Using 'dick pics' to engage the audience was priceless!

A "test" that specifically targets two projects that promote anti-censorship. Yeah, that's some "test"...

Sigh. I'm referring to Chinese citizens... Your post was wrong in every way, in stating that DDoS'ing Chinese citizens will make them angry with their government.

Freedom of speech isn't as forward there (you know the whole GFW), so whatever the media pushes (I.e. what the government feeds them) will be what the vast majority of the public think... Even if you wanted to search for the "truth", the GFW could easily censor it like they already do.

Yes, just like "North Korea" hacked Sony's servers...

Misinformation will happen on a large scale due to media outlets publishing the most enticing headlines. It will also push more anti-<insert country of choice> behaviour.

The growing trend that I've seen now days is companies requiring extensive knowledge in "this" framework. It doesn't help that every company requires a different framework.

Interviews are a drag, and none of them like hearing that it will take one month to become fully accustomed (in-depth knowledge) with their framework. They'd prefer someone with limited knowledge who knows their framework rather than one who's well versed in multiple frameworks/languages.
