Cool idea. I need to know what the advantages of this. (vs me using ChatGPT to generate code?). Maybe you want to explain more about the process and values customers will get for the price. Also, I don't think new customers are willing to spend 400 euros/week to try out a new service.

Re:Create a React 18-TypeScript-Vite project on Wednesday June 16, 2021 @11:08PM (#27535781)
https://nnote.io/s/x4od5/react-18-with-vite-and-vercel

The new version of React - React 18 alpha has just come out. From ReactJS.org:

"There are no significant out-of-the-box breaking changes to component behavior. You can upgrade to React 18 with minimal or no changes to your application code, with a level of effort comparable to a typical major React release"

New Improvements:

- React.lazy - new streaming server renderer support.

- Automatic batching.

- New APIs (like startTransition).

This post will demonstrate a step-by-step guide to create your project using React 18 alpha, Typescript, Vite and deploy it to Vercel (freemium).

Hi HNers, Recently I realized that I own multiple computers. I wanted to know which one can run my web development tools faster and more efficiently. So, I created this simple script to benchmark them by running my regular tools like: CRA, express generator etc. and measure the time.

Check it out and see benchmark results of your tools and development evironment: https://github.com/ngduc/dev-benchmark

PRs, feedbacks, suggestions are very welcome. Thanks.

I think it's ok to freak out. It's better be sooner than later to freak out :)

I'm glad you like it. Definitely I will add more features in the next few days. Coloring period is a nice idea. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for explaining! I've just fixed it, it's closer but still not super accurate as there are leap years and a year has about 52.143 weeks. I'll look more into that later :)

Hi, the default is 90 for now to keep the table bit shorter. What do you mean by 'actual numbers'? There is no pulling data in this webapp.
Re:Show HN: Life Calendar – Your Life in Weeks on Sunday September 27, 2020 @09:34PM (#24612020)
I'm not sure what that means ("my birthday is a couple of weeks in the future"). If you could take a screenshot and paste just the sample data, that'll be great! Thanks.

it can save data to localStorage now :)
Re:Show HN: Life Calendar – Your Life in Weeks on Sunday September 27, 2020 @07:01PM (#24610909)
Hi, it takes the first event's date as the first box, then renders weeks (boxes) after that.
Re:Show HN: Life Calendar – Your Life in Weeks on Sunday September 27, 2020 @06:03PM (#24610490)
Exactly, that's why I created this little app, as a reflection.

Glad you like it. I've been using it to see for myself for a while :)

Repo - https://github.com/ngduc/life-calendar

Live website - https://life-calendar-in-weeks.vercel.app

Techs:

- React, CRA - Recoil - Chakra-ui - Date-fns

It persists what you typed and clicked Save. If you clear everything & click Save again, it will persist empty content (same as deleting that note).
it's React, tailwind on UI, the Backend is nodejs, express, mongodb.
Existing note sharing tools are full of ads (some are not safe for kids, family or office) So I created this simple site that lets anyone create & share notes from anywhere with no ads, no sign-up required.

Please share your feedbacks to help it become better. Thanks.

Thanks for reviewing. I will add history & local storage in the next version. Thanks.
Added. Thanks karmakaze!
It can be both. a Login component (template) can be embedded or user can implement their own component and connect to AuthUI endpoints.
Hi kostarelo, The auth logic is here - https://github.com/authui/authui-server/blob/master/src/type... After calling the login api, it will respond with a token which contains a valid userId. I am updating the Readme. Thanks.
Any feedback or suggestion is welcome! Thanks.
Nice catch! I'm working on the fix now. Thanks.

Edit: fixed.
