Actually all of them. Every step adds up the pull of every planet at the rocket’s current position. Realistic gravity made shots feel unfair, too weak a falloff made them feel floaty. I tried a few versions before landing on something in between.
Years ago I started building a game I had seen at a conference, played over telnet: you type an angle and a power, and the planets bend your shot.

I finally found the time to finish it with the help of AI. The basics, like the physics, were already there. Now it has nicer graphics and runs in the browser, on desktop and mobile.

Happy about any feedback, and glad to add more features.

Oh wow, thanks! Never happened in my endless testing. Will fix it asap!
Thanks! Most of my time actually went into the small details: the last 20% where AI still needs a lot of human guidance and iteration.
I was thinking more of the learnings from building this multiplayer game: stud snapping, chunking, client-side prediction, baked geometry and a bunch of three.js lighting gotchas.
Is open source still a thing when everyone’s building everything from scratch with AI anyway? But yes, why not.
Thank you for the feedback! Will move the return spot way more out of the entry spot.
Will investigate and fix the issues!
Trust me! I did and still doing! A lot! And programming things like this will never replace time with both of my kids ;)
THIS! And just to show what is possible nowadays with AI coding even if you are not owning a game studio.
I gave it a lot of graphic settings so it suits even low end devices. Did none of them work for you?
You can build wherever you want as long as it is not someone else's lot. But everyone can destroy your creation - unless it's on your own lot. Is this possible?
Thanks for the feedback! Does it happen in first person or third person? It works for me, even on the trackpad. Hm.
BTW: Except in the city center and on the streets, you can build anywhere, and everyone can collaborate. If you’d like to build on your own, buy a lot with in-game coins. Then only you can place and remove bricks there.
Exactly. I wanted to match the holding force of the studs, the way it would be if you actually built something with real bricks.
Really? Interesting, I developed the whole game on a Mac in Chrome. Does it work in any other browser for you?

I just vibe-coded the most useful app ever! Don't wanna make money with it. Just share it!

Great idea and well executed! Do I need a Google account to use it?
