A neat idea
If I don't like something, I'm going to talk about it. The plusses, and the minuses. You can't have everything in life and that is the way I veiw everything (although that has little to do with these odd new html tags).
I love a regular serving of six cups of almost dark coffee. I can't stand real sweet foods as my sense of taste is overwhelmingly strong (yeah I have sensory issues, it's part of life for me).
Absolutely right, people need to get up off their asses (sorry) if they want coffee.
Re:Japan outlaws flying drones while drunk on Thursday June 13, 2019 @09:18AM (#20174521)
Never heard that one...
I agree with you there. It's an important service that was orginally created by the military (though I'm not sure which one).
I don't think this is a good idea.
Re:Matrix 1.0 and the Matrix.org Foundation on Tuesday June 11, 2019 @09:02PM (#20160884)
Matrix really is an awesome clinet/service. Really glad this Matrix exists and allows for security and privacy.
I'm really excited for it. I also have my eyes on the Pine phone project.
I need to try this, I also need to get a Librem 5, and build my project for it. Anyone know of any good projects for replacing google services with FOSS services that do the same basic things?

Exactly!
Re:Let's make them pay for using our personal data on Monday June 10, 2019 @10:24AM (#20146971)
Although the idea sounds nice, I think it's impractical. Large companies don't care about you, they care about profit...
Re:Breaking the physical limits of fonts on Sunday June 09, 2019 @09:52PM (#20143237)
This is really cool.
Re:Google CEO Defends YouTube Practices on Sunday June 09, 2019 @09:46PM (#20143213)
Thay seems to be a problem nowadays, title text conflicting with article content... I wonder why? More views?
Re:Kill Instant Messaging on Sunday June 09, 2019 @09:45PM (#20143207)
You have a point there. Although it is good to at least reach out and speak to others once in a while.
Re:The Open Source Seed Initiative on Sunday June 09, 2019 @09:43PM (#20143200)
I never have been big on planting, and didn't really know theee was an issue with companies holding large amounts of seeds...
I wish companies were responsible, open, and honest.
Re:Blender Is Free Software on Sunday June 09, 2019 @04:08PM (#20141572)
Blender is one of those projects that even people who aren't into FOSS have at least heard of. It's pretty nifty!
Good news :D
Re:GnuCash: Open-source double-entry accounting software on Thursday June 06, 2019 @11:27PM (#20121410)
I need to check this out!
Re:GnuCash: Open-source double-entry accounting software on Thursday June 06, 2019 @11:26PM (#20121401)
I use GNU Cash all the time! It's simple and does what you tell it to :)
Re:Japan eyes legislation to regulate global IT giants on Thursday June 06, 2019 @11:24PM (#20121389)
I wonder how this could affect other countries' IT infrastructure? Seems interesting, and needed.
Isn't Microsoft jumbled anyways? In my opinion they're just wanting to get third hands in everything...
Re:Catching the Great American Eclipse at 35,000 Feet on Sunday August 27, 2017 @01:45AM (#15109317)
Who's ready for the next one?
Why can't we all use FOSS? Oh yeah, people are greedy...
Sounds interesting
Not compromised... But you know what I mean.... :/
You'd hope that Google would be better at such... Oh well, everything is compromised eventually.
