No - I had an unopened medication that I wanted to return just ONE day after purchase because I found it much cheaper elsewhere. This isn't about disposal - I simply wanted a standard refund for an unopened product, like any other retail purchase. Instead, CVS's only "solution" was to have me throw away a perfectly good medication.
The point isn't about medication disposal - it's about their no-refund policy even for sealed, unopened medications purchased days or even hours ago. How does this benefit anyone except CVS's bottom line?

I just found out that Amazon Pharmacy's price WITHOUT insurance is 37% cheaper than what I pay at CVS WITH insurance! Pretty crazy pricing stuff going on here:- CVS seems to be artificially jacking up their base prices just to make thier insurance "discounts" look better- Even after my insurance knocked the price down, CVS is way more expensive than Amazon's regular price- CVS wont even let you...

I signed up for a webinar hosted by Amazon relating to machine learning 6-8 months ago. I used my work email thinking it would be useful for my employer.Since then I've reached emails from 9 different Amazon recruiters for Software Engineer role to my work email. Reaching out to me on my work email looks very odd to me.I tried responding to 4 or 5 of the recruiters to take me off the list but...
As author mentioned, I always come up with an excuse before the event. This has happened to me several times! After reading this, I realize, it was not just me :)
This makes sense. Several other services are down.

It's the same issue like any other outage, their status page does not load and there is no way to find what's going on.
This is what I thought. These companies are taking advantage of people who don't have enough information and make them pay for rest of their life.
All the people who attend these presentation are the ones who are trying to save money.
May be like you said, it's "unethical but legal". I've heard a little bit about car sales but not much about funeral home.
Any other industry that use similar strategy to signup customer?

Love the fact that it is open-source and free to use. I can see it being useful for a lot of people who don't want to spend money but know they need to do some form of simple automation using their browser.
This resonates a lot with me. There will always be people smarter, richer and prosperous than you. Appreciate the fact that you are always going to be in a line where you'll have people better and worst than you.
Being able to motivate and make small consistent improvements is the key to being a better yourself.
Is it just me who keeps getting Cloudflare "Always Online" error when trying to search?
I still get this unless I try it in incognito.
I heard about "you" from one of my friends and wanted to give it a try and it forced me to install chrome plugin.
This is a lot of friction for me to try a new search engine. Not sure why you'd force your user to install something just to give it a try.
