Re:Days after its demise, Grooveshark is back on Wednesday May 06, 2015 @06:21AM (#9497615)
This is a scam, how can bgr.com post this...
NSA, not NASA.
Hm, what exactly are you looking for? I am on 2.3 so maybe it's just using some OS provided stuff, if so, sorry for the useless suggestion. For me it seems similar to what I remember from the stock browser and the good old opera mobile before the drama (rip...).

This is great! Thanks for caring so much about privacy.
Re:Grooveshark Shuts Down on Friday May 01, 2015 @03:16AM (#9469942)
The official android app seems closed source though.
Try Lightning. Its a bit buggy and unfortunately put tabs at the top (whyyyy ..) but zooming and reflow are like opera mobile assuming you mean the classic one, not the one with random font sizes.
And they do not store IPs at all? All hops between you and them are NSA-proof?
Re:Explained Visually is now open source on Sunday April 26, 2015 @02:59AM (#9440809)
I upvoted without commenting because I love EV, highly appreciate the free release but had nothing to say. Random praise is just noise that can be expressed by upvoting.
Re:Secret Files Reveal the Structure of Islamic State on Sunday April 19, 2015 @05:17AM (#9402517)
On the other hand you just proposed that the parent commenter gets on a terrorist list of the NSA, GCHQ, BKA, etc.

I won't let you police what words I use, I had no idea of the history (ESL). If there is a objective source I might reconsider.

You missed my point about the negativity. It makes me not wanting to do anything, that's the problem.

Re:A New Era at the Tor Project on Tuesday April 14, 2015 @04:16AM (#9372805)

Re:Tableflip.club on Monday April 13, 2015 @05:11PM (#9370536)

Re:German author Guenter Grass dies on Monday April 13, 2015 @11:03AM (#9368018)
"er ist das" also sounds exactly like "he eats that".
Are there no "solutions for managers" yet that require no knowledge of the backgrounds?

That's ok but you should also consider the use case of unconnected systems.
Why not? A usb stick is cheap, small and durable.
Re:PapyrOS, based on Arch Linux on Sunday April 12, 2015 @03:26AM (#9362495)
Packages go through the 'testing' repository. Archlinux breaks much more seldom on updates than Windows.
Because moving 5GB over a standard internet connection takes a while.
Re:Gradberry Spamming GitHub Users on Tuesday April 07, 2015 @05:32AM (#9332773)
Nono, they are leveraging the market opportunity to generate viral leads with growth hacking.
Re:Recovering deleted records from an SQLite database on Monday April 06, 2015 @08:15AM (#9327662)
Does a simple VACUUM prevent this?

Re:Ghost Call – Secure, Encrypted, Anonymous Calling on Wednesday April 01, 2015 @05:02PM (#9306864)
Site seems dead.

Is it free software? What differentiates it from Signal/TS?

Re:Slack was hacked on Friday March 27, 2015 @08:33PM (#9279942)
To me, that is something that you should keep internal, on internal systems with vetted free software.
All of it 4 times.
Re:Be wary of one-time pads and other crypto unicorns on Thursday March 26, 2015 @07:16AM (#9268806)
Nothing keeps startups from asking crypto experts for consulting and guidance. Nothing keeps them from reading publicly available docs and rants.
Docker is not a security thing!
