The U.S. is self destructing and it starts by pushing its friends and family away. This is a very common step in self destruction.
Capitalists set the world on fire to get the biggest mansion on the moon.
It's about how hard they can squeeze before it pops. The big players can afford to open up their own shops and steam throws them a bone.
If they are organized on the social media can the police not just read that and then be there when it happens to arrest them.
Serbia and Croatia attacked Bosnia. All three parties are former yougoslavia. It's complicated.
Inconel is indeed extremely hard and thus brittle. Used for high wear and grind parts on heavy machinery, not for framing.
He could go to Metallica to experience the Taylor Swift size crowds, but he doesn't.
Kespa or Gomtv remastered/upscaled their old televised games about a year ago. Just using the upscalers that were the hype at the time.
In this thread: people who automate jobs away lament their jobs being automated away
The assignment was a shared essay? Written together? And then the prof was, oh no a free loader?
There is already 5d chess, it's been out for years on steam. It's very polished, has tutorials and puzzles. Time travel and parallel universes.
I'm going back. Storage on phones is so big now. You can have all your music local.
Ikea is great. They solved 90% of furniture. They never rip you off. If only more industries were solved like Ikea solved furniture.
Imagine cars or clothes or food or housing the Ikea way. Meticulously improved decade over decade. Always respecting the customer, the customer never the product. No change because of change.
Very few tables wouldn't be ruined by punching it with a screw driver.
There's always the zero button and I always mash it happily.
Also chat is private. We went from public but anonymous to private and unanimous.
Norway invested their oil winnings in a nation wide fund. The Netherlands spent their gas money on hookers and booze.
It's like saying "my server is now white", a common thing people would say roughly a hundred years ago.
And it's called "dutch disease".
We did it with gas. Now look at Norway. We could've been like Norway.
One time someone asked me to paint their house, so I made a 5 square inch watercolour of it. Unfortunately this didn't protect the walls from moisture and they ended up with mold in their house.
It used to be justified and respected stance to separate the art from the artist.
At the same time, blatant copying was excepted, painters today can take Rembrandts like you wouldn't know the difference. But art fruits in a time and place.
I still think LLMs won't generate art worth anything, of course I make genai pictures of my dog with a pet bird.
Just like not knowing how to read and write does to your ability to speech.
I read it for the first time a couple months ago. How I remember the prison scenes was that he felt the emotions happening buy he didn't connect to them. His emotions had as little meaning to him as the trial had, as the murder had, as his girlfriend had, and as his mother had. He just describes what's going on, and because he's locked up in a cell the only thing going on is inside him, but still he does not connect to it. He didn't connect to the world that was outside him, and he doesn't connect to the world that's inside him.
To me the weirdest part of the book, that I find out of character, is that he went along to write that letter for his neighbor, and to aid his neighbor at the police station. If you care so little about anything, if you're that cool, why don't you pass on that weird neighbor. Just close the door without saying anything and go smoke your sigarettes in the window, you poser.
The only way I can make his acts rhyme is if he's just telling himself how cool he is, but he's a actually a social outcast too cool for school who only wants to hang out with people he thinks are cool, e.g. the "bad boy neighbor". That guy was a certified woman beater. And that's the guy he chooses to associate with?
If anything this is the character Dennis of Always Sunny was based on, especially his highschool years.
I heard the gimmick was euro (you-ro) -- wero (we-ro). Which leaves ayero and dayro.
I went down the list a couple weeks to go trying to move files from my windows desktop to my Chromebook and the only thing that worked in the top 5 or 10 was localsend.
