do you care that much about leadership when using a service? even I dont know gcp's c-level, aws's c-level, even vercel's c-level. only know rauchg.

i think i care much more about our SLAs (if any)

Matt, Looking forward in regaining Elon's and his team trust to use CF again.
Re:Every Cloudflare enterprise feature, available to everyone on Thursday September 25, 2025 @10:25AM (#45372984)
dane, open up more ports for spectrum/L4 to paid customers please!
Chinese cloud platforms (led by Alibaba & Tencent Cloud) are disrupting the APAC region by offering up to 40% reduced pricing than their western counterparts.

Indonesia's Gojek (Uber + Doordash + Paypal superapp), a heavy kubernetes company with 25 million MAU, migrates off GCP + AWS to Alibaba + Tencent.

Wonder if CCP companies are going to enter the European/US market to disturb the long dominating AWS + GCP + Azure, esp with AWS's crazy prices.

Re:Vercel CEO shades Cloudflare's Enterprise tactics on Friday April 11, 2025 @02:53AM (#43651174)
With CF's main selling point of "free CDN requests & egress pricing", it is charging Enterprise customers PER requests and bandwidth based on an order form from an incoming customer.

GitHub's free org plan –> NO secrets for private repos!

Was setting up Actions CI for a university project only to realize that private repo can't access org's Secret unless it is on a paid plan.Shouldn't this be a security issue?"Secrets are available in all public repositories, in private repositories owned by personal accounts, and in private repositories owned by organizations on GitHub Team or GitHub Enterprise plans."

Re:Post Mortem on Cloudflare Control Plane and Analytics Outage on Saturday November 04, 2023 @03:21AM (#38138878)
I experienced it myself within the last 24 hours. New D1 & Hyperdrive deployment was not working. It would spew out internal errors & timeouts.

Both are non-GA products, and the point is that non-GA are not part of the HA cluster (yet)

At what time were you notified Matt?
If I run a nginx without Cloudflare, what should I do?
Similar blockage happened in South Korea where the govt blocked Cloudflare's r2.dev domain.

What's your stance on a single root domain hosting thousands of projects?

Quite confusing homepage for those who just need a web protection from DDoS.
Yes, no notice
Just so you know, Kakao is the Google of Korea.

They hold messaging (no. 1 messaging app), payment, even maps. and all of them are down now.

Re:Zero Trust SIM on Monday September 26, 2022 @09:22AM (#32982776)
that's great to hear. thought it was going to be locked behind enterprise door.

Please make this product available for non-enterprises too (at a cost, of course.) @jgrahamc @eastdakota

outage RCAs..

Another fiber cut..? EU - APAC

Phone vibrated like crazy since 11:12am UTC.Noticed that HE, NTT, Arelion, GTT started going crazy on latency and packet loss between EU and APAC.Anyone from the big clouds/providers, or from the Cloudflare team, notice this too?

Re:Network performance update: Platform Week on Monday May 16, 2022 @11:38AM (#31399025)
CF lost the #1 fastest provider in some countries compared to Full Stack Week (ex. Indonesia, Mexico, Chile, etc).

Any reasons why? Network peering/interconnection issue with local ISPs? How did Akamai (in Indonesia, Chile) managed to "overtake" CF?
