Show HN: Use your Kindle Dictionaries on desktop

Hi HN,I wrote a desktop application (works on Linux, macOS and Windows) to use your Kindle dictionaries (either azw or mobi format). To start using it just put your dictionaries under $HOME/Dictionaries and they'll be available in the UI.I hope you find it useful. Any feedback/testing is welcome.Source & binaries available at https://github.com/ismail/mobidict/

Any timeline for Python3 support?
Since Flash update is now bundled with Windows Updates it means that Edge users will be using vulnerable Flash for one more month, wow :/

I sincerely hope Red Hat continues to develop Cygwin further. It's amazing to be able to run my favourite shell on Windows.

We have two cats and pondered about this long time ago. The best resource we found was the BBC documentary: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04lcqvq also has an e-book http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/4Hbdn6T21hKDH6bfVBk...
Great, would be nice to have and updated clang (seems to be using 3.5.1) and python3 (using 3.4.3). Generally its nice to point out the version of the compiler it's using somewhere as a note.
Also instead of taking over the newtab page it could use it own page :)
Very nice! Hopefully it'll support syncing to google user account too.

I guess you meant Python 3.4 because 3.5 has no limitation: https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/3.5/Lib/sre_compile.p...

Re:Ask HN: Share your favourite bash/zsh aliases on Saturday July 11, 2015 @09:34AM (#9869703)
Well in zsh running =scp would run /usr/bin/scp not the alias.

alias scp='rsync --archive --compress-level=3 --copy-links --partial --inplace --progress --rsh=ssh -r'

My daily routine is

Cool idea, a Chrome extension would be useful since some of us hides the bookmarks bar.

Looks lovely!

Though I would appreciate non-Mac shortcuts too (I am guessing ctrl- can be used instead of cmd-)
