>Does a male have a higher sex drive?

Yes. Sex drive has a lot to do with T levels. Woman's sex drive is at her highest when her T is highest (ovulating).

>More likely to rape

Yes. Rape requires physicality. Most women are incapable of raping a man, without drugs or a gun.

All this to say, I'm not sure what the point of the subthread is.

Re:A Bitcoin Mine at a Natural Gas Well in Texas on Saturday March 19, 2022 @12:45PM (#30735278)
At current prices of natgas and BTC, it is economical enough to use flare gas to mine, but not enough to connect it to the grid.
Either you posted the wrong link, or your link was taken down within the last 20 minutes...

Lots of Cruise employees in this thread.

Cryptocurrency trading, stock market trading, sports betting, slots, and opening Pokemon card packs are all functionally "gambling".

However, people will generally only use the word for types of gambling they disagree with.

Does anyone else have an inexplicable subconscious desire for the JWST to fail catastrophically? I've been a huge fan of the project for years, but after launch my mind was constantly plagued with these urges. I can't seem to explain or get rid of it. "Call of the void", maybe?

Anyone else with this problem? I'd really like to stop thinking these horrible thoughts.

Re:Germany shuts down half of its remaining nuclear plants on Friday December 31, 2021 @02:07PM (#29751347)
Why was Nord Stream 2's approval delayed by the German government?
Well I had a pretty bad second dose response. I was bedridden for a week. That said, my COVID infection was far worse and I'm still struggling with long COVID today.

I guess I'm going to have trouble taking a shot (active decision) I know I'll respond badly, albeit temporarily, to. As opposed to waiting around (passive decision) and trying my chances with COVID a second time.

Now that I'm writing this all out, I think I'll get my booster, maybe a fourth if I can weasel my way in.

What about both? I have both past infection and I'm double vaxxed. Based on the data, should I get boosted?

From what I'm reading the answer is yes but does anybody have an estimation of my protection right now?

Tesla doesn't publish data nor shares it with the NHTSA, so that's very difficult to do. The only """data""" we have are videos uploaded to YouTube by a select group of Tesla owners who have access to the beta. Even ignoring the bias in videos selected for upload by the beta testers, every single city driving clip I've seen has several illegal maneuvers and many more disengagements.
Slightly off topic, but it's fun to see company culture reflected in the algorithm behaviour.

There are thousands of clips of Tesla's Fatal Self Driving being far too aggressive for American roads (https://nitter.net/taylorogan/status/1469404579439824899).

Meanwhile, companies like AutoX have the problem of being far too conservative for Asian roads (https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=TFEvkmvIjVo). AutoX has some of the best edge case handling I've seen.

Generally speaking, this is a poor way to convince someone. Comments like this are likely to embolden the parent's views. I say this as someone who holds neutral views on the matter.

Consider for a moment you have actually proved his point.

Re:Tesla shares surpass $1T in value on Monday October 25, 2021 @04:46PM (#28992909)
Expected future value. Most rental companies haven't committed to large EV fleets. This changes things.

That said I think the current valuation is a joke.

Re:The Nobel Prize in Physics 2021 on Tuesday October 05, 2021 @07:20AM (#28757912)
High profile prizes will always be political. That said, Syukuro Manabe built the foundation for a lot of modern day computer-based climate simulation. I can't speak for the others but I'd say that's Nobel worthy.
Alternatively, this can be read as: even an isolated island nation with low population, almost no migration into the country, and high compliance rates was unable to stop COVID via lockdowns (and no vaccines).
Another leak that will have people "outraged" by aggressively upvoting and commenting on articles for two weeks. The news cycle will move on, the leakers will be car bombed [0], and these papers will be memoryholed.

You can wait around for four years til a new set of old rich people get voted into power (maybe they'll be blue/red this time!!!!) and hope they get rid of the loopholes they all use. Maybe a couple more """revolutionary""" politicians will be elected who VERBALLY DISMANTLE AND DESTROY a couple billionaires in a senate hearing (OMG SO AWESOME!!!). Decide for yourself if you think anything will change.

There does exist a great equalizer, but I won't mention it. I like staying unb&.

Source? I agree the borders were a failure, but I can't find anything close to what you're saying in: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sykes%E2%80%93Picot_Agreement
It looks like it was "leaked", as in, publicly exposed server indexed by a few search engines. It's possible that this researcher was the only one to come across it, and reported it immediately. In which case it'll never see the light of day.

Ontario has surplus capacity (of mostly clean energy) as well - there's really no need.
Did some perusing - can't find it anywhere you'd normally find these things. Let me know if anyone does!
