It's yours is also pretty much the blue print for ll's Rock the Bells.
Re:A Beginner's Hip Hop Playlist on Tuesday April 25, 2017 @06:22AM (#14192189)
Lists can't cover everything, even your best albums list is lacking. Where for example are Critical Beatdown, Hard to Earn, Stunts Blunts and Hip Hop, 2000, Paid in Full, Funcrusher Plus, Unfinished Business, Breaking Atoms on that list?
Should I import an extra library? The first code example uses a function called read_url(), that's not a native python function.
I remember the gits version being shown on TV all the time. I've never seen the version you've just posted.

EDIT: This is not the GITS version shown on tv. The TV video only had footage of the tank scene.

that's true clients think they want a CMS system, the reality is however the one who does the updating is usually you.

Re:Anonymous Pro – a fixed-width font designed for coders on Monday September 09, 2013 @09:48PM (#6357559)
I think this post is a reaction on that other type post because Anonymous Pro is few years old.
Re:Using GNU Stow to manage your dotfiles on Wednesday September 04, 2013 @10:43PM (#6331890)
I use Vcsh. It allows for more than one repository. It's a Shell script, uses Git and it doesn't symlink.
Re:Nintendo 2DS on Wednesday August 28, 2013 @01:03PM (#6291228)
Interesting, it does have the double cameras on the back.
Re:VLC for iOS Now Available (itunes link) on Friday July 19, 2013 @03:04AM (#6068718)
Same here. Their page says:

>Support for network streams, including HLS, MMS or RTSP

Was hoping to see some simple dlna options. I'm streaming from Pogoplug not from iTunes or dropbox

There is a third camp, never heard of a top sheet until now. I belong in this camp and am wondering what I've missed all these years.
Re:Sustaining git-annex development on Sunday July 14, 2013 @11:47PM (#6043596)
I like git-annex better. Because git-annex doesn't automatic keep copies of the files in all the directories you've shared. When you need a file that's not in your local directory you can just pull it from a different place, git-annex keeps track where the file is stored.
Re:Better line numbers for Vim on Sunday July 14, 2013 @08:49AM (#6040750)
That's right, I have remapped j and k. I had it for so long that I forgot it is not the default behavior.
Re:Better line numbers for Vim on Saturday July 13, 2013 @09:55PM (#6039565)
In my vim doesn't show the 0 instead it shows the line number you're currently on. Seems somewhat what you suggested.
Re:Better line numbers for Vim on Saturday July 13, 2013 @09:49PM (#6039544)
My problem with relative numbering is that it doesn't seem to work correctly when a line is wrapped.

Say I want to move 6 lines down. I use 6j, but one of the lines I want to jump over is wrapped and occupies 2 lines in my editor. That will mean my cursor will end up at the line that was previous numbered 5. This behavior drives me nuts.

Pogoplug is not a free service. I bought one thinking it was. They actually cap the amount of data you can store. I believe it is 5GB for free.

Mine's running Arch Linux Arm now, with Open VPN, NFS, Samba and simple DLNA. Much more useful! I just wish I could re-encode the stream to my iPad. Often the video on my iPad refuses to playback proper.

I agree, when driving a car in the Netherlands you always expect a bycicle even when there is non. It also helps that in case of an accident between a car and bycicle the blame almost automatic shifts towards the driver of the car.
I think it just a matter of time we see the first movie of a fist being planted on the face of a glass wearer. Agressive people who notice that the are being recorded often direct their anger to the person with the camera.
I think it is just a matter of time before we see

I'm curious why you choose i3 over Awesome or Xmonad. I recently started playing with tiling window managers myself after I saw a i3 presentation on Youtube. When started looking into it I found much more documention on Awesome wm. That's why installed that one on my machine.
Re:Venezuela offers asylum to Snowden on Friday July 05, 2013 @09:09PM (#5997488)
If he was handed travel documents by Ecuador why is he stuck on a Russian airport? I assumed he did travel under his own password wich was still valid when he left Hong Kong.
Re:HN Banned from Google on Friday July 05, 2013 @08:48PM (#5997403)
His Hacker News query give me https://news.ycombinator.com/jobs back as first result. Just for fun I tried the same query on DDG and the 27th result was the first ycombinator domain I got back.
Re:Distributed Everything on Thursday July 04, 2013 @03:30PM (#5992111)
Non issue, I and most people here I think read the article because we found the link here on the front page. Not because the author used Medium.
Re:Girl buys water, spends night in jail on Tuesday July 02, 2013 @07:22AM (#5977023)
You know this how? You're son isn't more familiar with this case than we are is he? The fact that the charges are dropped is somewhat telling.
Re:Girl buys water, spends night in jail on Tuesday July 02, 2013 @07:01AM (#5976940)
Isn't pulling a gun on a supermarket customer a bit of an overkill?
Not sure what you're implying here. The EU gives data to the US about Europeans flying to the US. Then the US does the EU's dirt work? And after this "dirty work" is processed does the US play the data back to the EU?
Re:Making the web fun again on Saturday June 29, 2013 @07:15AM (#5962065)
The 3D spinning globe favicon is a nice touch.
Re:U.S. asks Hong Kong to extradite Snowden on Saturday June 22, 2013 @07:04PM (#5925493)
That plane to Iceland is a private jet.
Re:Boston suspects on Wednesday April 17, 2013 @12:14PM (#5565294)
Want to share what exactly you learned from these pictures? All I see is circles drawn around random people carrying black backpacks.
Very neat how this game is presented. But I played this game years ago. Back when it was still called '3D Logic' http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=17727
