- Also, if they flag another app, the whole account gets banned

You seem be implying that the latter statement doesn't apply to the disciplines of science and engineering. "skill and experience expressed through tools" is highly important in both watchmaking and bridge building. I would advise anyone who says elsewise to reconsider.

I understand your point, but why create a hugely false dichotomy between a craft discipline and the science and engineering disciplines?

I strongly concur with points 2 and 6.

Excuse my pedantry, but I'd advise against saying "That isn't the point.", for it conflicts with a well known writing technique: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show,_don%27t_tell

If you insist on doing so, consider a more polite alternative. E.g. "it's seems you've missed the point", "perhaps you've misunderstood", "I feel that so-and-so was saying something else".

> On-Topic: Anything that good hackers would find interesting. That includes more than hacking and startups. If you had to reduce it to a sentence, the answer might be: anything that gratifies one's intellectual curiosity.

Someone found it interesting?

Key - in my opinion - being the operative word. In other words, you may be doing many things, but how good you are at those things aren't as relevant as how good you are at this key thing.

This statement is false. They could be more different in ways you can't even imagine, for no one currently completely understands the nature of intelligence.

The world does not simply "change". :)

edit: more seriously, making this statement is rarely advisable and is usually made in haste.

Words that needed to be said, thank you for doing so.

@Khao: Tone is critical when giving sincere opinion. Moreover, tone is hard to convey through text. I believe you should choose your words more carefully. Your post (to me) is somewhat fussy.

Life is quite messy and obvious. It seems quite likely that traces would exist.

> Experience and track record of results will always beat education.

I see these as two very separate things. Why do you compare them?

Could you please clarify?

If so, then please don't nitpick advice which is good for everybody else. Magnus Carlsen can do that for himself.

Did you use a code editor for the markdown? I'm working on a book, and would use vim, but I'd like to see the TOC at all times. Something like Word's navigation pane.

If you were being serious, than the reason college is costly is because everything that goes into me being able to attend a college costs money.

Could you detail the technical side of writing? I.e. what tools were used in getting this done?

  a) stop learning
  b) stop being critical towards his own work

Because he doesn’t accept the parameters suggested to him

I hate to distract from the content, however I found the article's use of semicolons to be incorrect throughout. (edit: disregard)
