The first link was wrong. I updated it to the one I intended to share, about Françafrique.
Like working in some FAANG? Spending tons of money into accelerating climate change, maximizing profits for stakeholders while aggressively suppressing every cooperative efforts for the workers to unionize?

Sounds great! Congrats!

And where do you think these governments comes from? Why do you think they are in such a precarious situation?

Maybe colonialism has something to do with it, hasn’t it?

Well. My dude. There are definitely different kind of farming. And in my family case, it has always been a small business, growing vegetables and fruits, selling products locally and fair compensation for the worker.

Not every farmer has to be a capitalist piece of shit you know.

Thanks a lot. I’ll probably earn less money, but waking up and getting out of bed every morning will be much more meaningful.
It’s planned. I’ll do something actually useful for people, work in medical/social care or maybe go back to farming (what my family has been doing since generations).

Feeding people with something else than marketing bullshit to their brain, feeding them something they can eat.

Yeah. Look at all the benefits of colonization in African countries. Look at the great job we are doing. Giving them money to alienate themselves looking at the shit we produce. Such a great advancement for humanity. Thanks lord for bringing civilization to the savages
This couldn’t happen because of minimum wages. And yes I would be happy if white people would stop colonizing every piece of land and people they can find to fiddle with their little capitalist toys.
Hello!

I'm showcasing my lightweight homepage, fully responsive, supporting system preferences dark/light themes with only a few lines of CSS in one single HTML file.

See the content of the index.html here: https://codeberg.org/mathilde/homepage/src/branch/main/index..., the full Codeberg git repository (with Codeberg Pages for hosting) is available at: https://codeberg.org/mathilde/homepage

Every feedback is welcome, especially if it could improve accessibility and/or reduce even more the weight of the page.

Have a good day!

Jeez this article is nonsense! The author is invoking social sciences terms but clearly has no idea what they are talking about.

> There is no point in having some people's opinions be more important than others. That is the essence of discrimination.

No, open a dictionary or Wikipedia and see: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discrimination

> Discrimination is the process of making unfair or prejudicial distinctions between people based on the groups, classes, or other categories to which they belong or are perceived to belong, such as race, gender, age, religion, or sexual orientation.

Taking the risk to feed the troll by commenting here. This whole embarrassing blog article sounds written by someone who mistakenly conflate many things. If people call you out because you’re acting like an asshole they are not “canceling” you. If they ask you to leave a community you polluted with your toxicity, hate for women, brown and black people, they are not attacking your “free speech”, simply showing you the door.

My god, people really need to grown up, touch some grass, grow a backbone and stop playing the victims, so fragile!

I sadly failed to find the information I needed: are we somehow allowed to use proper custom domains?

Nice project! Sadly the emojis present in my GitHub bio aren’t being rendered. I can’t see them in the image. :)

https://yunohost.org is a much more mature project, with a larger app ecosystem. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
If you are interested in this kind of app you may like to take a look at https://cryptpad.org, a full featured collaborative office suite. End-to-end encrypted, built from the ground to know as little as needed about you and easy to host.

Try it on our flagship instance: https://cryptpad.fr, no registration required!

What does FSD even means?? There is no mention of that in the author’s thread. Please stop with acronyms!

You’re welcome! The documentation needs some work, it isn’t par with the latest CryptPad version. It’s entirely possible this information is missing!

That's a very interesting comment, thank you.

You can actually upload images, photos & even videos to your CryptPad Drive. Just head to https://cryptpad.fr/drive/ and choose whatever file you want. :)

TLDR; CryptPad is a 6 years old FOSS project developed by XWiki SAS, a french company who has been doing open-source for 17 years. It aims to replace proprietary, unencrypted services like Google Docs, etc. It runs directly in the browser and the code is licensed under AGPLv3.

It’s been a while since I didn’t visited a website not mobile-ready… Hopefully reader-mode works as expected.

I concur, a very well crafted and maintained project.
Re:Saying goodbye to an old friend on Thursday December 23, 2021 @02:50AM (#29659620)
To be honest it wasn’t a thing anymore since some years already. I was a client of them and I stopped using Better facing too many issues and no help from the maintainers…
