Those sentences don't seem grammatically correct. It's almost as if the researchers were deliberately using illogical sentences to stump the parser, which most people wouldn't do so it's a pointless exercise

Wow thank you, this is basically what I was trying to build

Ask HN: How do you share music with others?

I'm working on a music sharing concept with a friend and was hoping to get some insight from 'pro users' on their music consumption and sharing methods. My go to is usually Facebook if its a general song I think is good, or direct link shares to individual people through whichever messaging app I first think of.Any pointers to existing services would be much appreciated

Re:Ask HN: Should I buy an iPhone (or something else)? on Monday May 25, 2015 @04:30AM (#9599141)
I get why Apple don't think widgets etc are useful, but I'd still like the choice to decide for myself. Android gives me that and iOS doesn't; that's probably my main issue.

I also completely agree that Google's android is a lot less free than the open source android, its just more accessible than o-s android.

Battery issue is partly due to my charging habits (which I'm fixing), partly due to usage (couldn't get a day out of a factory reset iPhone 5 either), and because i've bullied my phone a bit so wear and tear is probably contributing. As for camera, that's an overheating issue caused by a manufacturing problem with a batch of the copper insulation tape (or something like that) that went into a lot of the M7's, can't entirely blame htc for that, but their QC/QA could do with some work (which i think they realised too with their newer phones).

I wouldn't have asked this question if the Google play edition devices still existed and the nexus 6 was offered in a slightly smaller size.

This is probably the worst time of year to look to buy a new phone, so I'll probably wait till I/O and wwdc to see if something newer and more compelling is launched.

Thanks for offering up your opinion :)

Ask HN: Should I buy an iPhone (or something else)?

I hate iOS, but Apple makes some of the best hardware in the world. I'm currently 'rocking' an HTC One M7 (Google Play Edition) because stock android is my favourite mobile OS (I've tried them all, but only used android and the old old old windows phone 6-7 significantly). My problems with iOS is its boring 'homescreen' functionality: I love my widgets (email, twitter, IFTTT buttons etc) and...

Could this be a foray into interactive online museums?
Re:Ask HN: Are you using a VPN service? Why? on Wednesday April 15, 2015 @07:25AM (#9380168)
I currently live in Dubai so a lot of services like netflix don't work here, so a vpn lets me use my subscriptions instead of letting them waste away. Plus it gives you slightly more privacy (depending on your vpn provider). Can be useful for anonymity if you combine with tor like so: http://www.deepdotweb.com/jolly-rogers-security-guide-for-be...

Ableton Live is not intuitive (personal experience), nor is it freely available on the web like this is, which is what I was trying to get at (but missed mentioning).

Is there any intention of building this out into a broader music-making tool? I can think of a lot of ways this could be a great way for introducing people to music production in a simple, intuitive manner. It also helps that Madeon is behind this and his music is arguably some of the most creative and well thought out since the likes of Daft Punk
