This could be really useful especially for the agents
Agentic Coding has been a huge strain on CI, I have been using Bazel to improve our build times and ultimately building customized runners to improve our CI

Anyways great blog post from linear team a lot to learn from it

Man what a week, We just had GLM 5.3 that came out and then we had smaller local model Qwen3.8-27B from Qwen

Just tried using Pi Agent and looks very promising

Sorry , It was 5.2 :)
Such an interesting times we are in,

We just had amazing releases this past two months

kimi k3, glm5.3 qwen3.8 and now glm5.3

These open models are getting really good

Pi Agent has been one of my favorite harness when it comes to using with local models

I had a lot of success running it on my Mac with Qwen3.6-35B-A3B model

Re:Qwen3.8-Max: A New Bar for Coding and Cowork on Monday August 03, 2026 @02:04AM (#49151756)
I have been using Qwen3.6-35B-A3B as my daily driver as well and its been phenomenal when it comes to coding
Let me know how it goes, feedback is always welcomed :)
Thank you, I wanted to keep it simple Tauri is fun to build with I must say

Show HN: Minute – Offline meeting notes on macOS with Whisper and llama.cpp

https://github.com/mraza007/minute

Hello HN,I built Minute because I wanted searchable meeting notes without sending recordings or transcripts to a cloud service. It captures microphone and optional system audio, transcribes locally with Whisper, and generates summaries, decisions, and action items using a local LLM through llama.cpp. After the initial model download, everything runs on-device and in-process. There’s no account,...

Re:Understanding ECS from Kubernetes Perspective on Saturday July 11, 2026 @03:42PM (#48875116)
Author here,

Agreed and most people tend to go towards ECS is because they don’t have enough resources to manage EKS or Kuberenetes in general

Now Kuberenetes is really powerful in my opinion but sometimes it might be an overkill

You might even get away with EC2s but they bring extra overhead of management such as patches and os upgrades and autoscaling can be trivial

Re:I ported Kubernetes to the browser on Wednesday July 01, 2026 @01:57AM (#48742818)
As someone who loves teaching and building this can be very useful

For example i built this https://kubernetes-made-simple.vercel.app/

Now i can add this

Woah that's brutal all the important information is wild in public
This is a great idea, but going against FIX protocol would be huge challenge as it's an industry standard and there's alot of regulation in financial industry
Re:I love the work of the ArchWiki maintainers on Sunday February 15, 2026 @12:04PM (#47025316)
It’s one of the best resources out there which helped me learn linux
Thank you for feedback and you are right, especially about learning from interactive tutorials
I love how you used SQLite (FTS5 + sqlite-vec)

Its fast and amazing for generating embedding and lookups

Re:The future of software engineering is SRE on Monday January 26, 2026 @02:37AM (#46762859)
This is so true Especially with middle managers they are they the ones that are hit the hardest
Impressive work
Re:Ask HN: Is it still worth pursuing a software startup? on Monday January 19, 2026 @02:03AM (#46675799)
You nailed right Most startups die because they optimize too much and have no real users
Re:I charged $18,000 for a Static HTML Page (2019) on Sunday January 04, 2026 @02:57PM (#46491586)
This is so true, scope creep is real when the client actively gets involved

And when that happens it’s better to move the contract to hourly rather having it fixed price

But you are also right about having a strong contract
