This is a tech site, not a news site. Threads posted here are rarely if ever "big news" nor is that the point.

The topic is an opener to discuss MitID, electronic ID's in general, the protocols behind them, what happens when they fail, privacy, societies reliance on them or something similar.

No. Many/most of them support login through hardware ID on your smartphone (i.e fingerprint/TPM-style pin), but the actual authorization of transfers or any privileged access is entirely MitID

MitID is the sole digital ID provider, leading the entire country unable to log into their internet banking, public services, digital mail etc.

What is going on with that domain? There are plenty of articles regarding the ChatGPT to Elon Musk (x.ai) transfer, but I have been unable to find out how Google managed to get it.3 major ownership transfers in less than a year, all between competitors?

HN is growing, and with the expansion comes more threads and posts. Instead of creating another reddit clone, I think HN could benefit from having additional categories/boards/"subreddits", whatever you want to call them.

How come most of these new reddit clones choose a style that aligns more with "new reddit" than "old reddit"? Which I thought we disliked? Please use the full-width of the screen.
