At the same time I really never have to check my spam folder for false positive, everything in there is literal spam so I forget checking it for weeks on end. Whereas on n Gmail I always need to check the spam folder, Google completely overdoes the filtering it and a lot of wanted emails end up in spam.

Your package is only € 5/month now - for €10 you get 4GB/150GB/5TB which is only the quarter of the price of an almost equal (no SSD, but more HD and traffic) DO instance.

Learnings from Our Private & Public Beta Phase
It helps when you need it and lets you do things your way at the same time.
The only caveat is there's basically only one guy developing it.
Sure, just wanted to make my point. In reality you move the subscriber from "subscribed" to "unsuscribed" or something like this...
Would this be the exception to the rule or is this problem totally unrelated to REST?
BTW: I'm not debating, I really wanna know.

Public insurance rates are related to income but are capped at a certain rate (slightly adjusted year by year), so you're not going to pay more than like 650 EUR or so, even if you're making millions. But they are more expensive to start with (I think around 300) and they offer only basic plans (no special treatment, no alternative medicine, etc.).
As you can not easily switch back from a private to a public plan, it can be a tough choice.
Retirement: when self employed, you really can opt out of retirement plans, there's no obligation.
I don't know what happens when they find out that you're uninsured, however it's possible to have no health insurance.
At the doctors or at the hospital just say you have private insurance and you'll get a invoice after the treatment.
My whole point is, the invoice amount would be not quite close to what that Amarican hospital charged.
