They wanted to keep it working offline, and hints should still be available for students in areas with spotty internet.
It's not Khan Academy responsibility to ensure students don't cheat after all. I mean for all they know the students could have other browsers/computers open.
When most people think of fascial tissue, they think of Kleenex. They call any brand of fascial tissue Kleenex.
IMAX doesn't want people calling any large format theater IMAX. So they over-reach anytime someone mentions the word I assume.
Not justifying the actions, just trying to clear things up. Personally, I think it's ridiculous.
Although, if you're working on the 5th day, it's not really a four day work week. My Fridays at my regular job are almost as relaxed.

I thought Elon wanted to create the Hyperloop. Here I was thinking I would see it in the next 5-10 years :(
They also removed the warning that the user's search results were being filtered [2].
To the best of my knowledge, the current status: User visits Google China - http://google.cn - This is a hyperlink to Google Hong Kong on the front page - IF user searches via Google.cn, the search results will be filtered by China not self-censored by Google. They will NOT be presented with a warning anymore. - IF user searches via Google.hk, from mainland china, the same thing will happen and the results will still be filtered. [3]
At this point, I don't believe the link to .hk Google serves as much use as it does a political statement.

I think the results deserve a discussion on their own...
I find your comment offending.
Maybe a free package with the ability to store 20 cards? I don't want to pay $99 a month to basically hook up to your API and test it with my first few customers.
Your expectations are accurate.
If a company declares they can't find talent here in the states and want to hire from outside this information helps:
- Makes sure the company doesn't just go hunting for cheaper labor overseas and bring people here for 40k
- Allows the international employee to view salaries to see if they're getting a fair offer
- Helps U.S. Citizens keep there job/pay because the company can't go higher other people for 40k.
So because something works great and is 'only' $70 you get confused why people choose other tools?
1. Open source is always the first answer for a lot of people (myself included). Atom is new and is constantly being worked on. The package manager is really nice, and great new packages come out everyday.
2. 'Slow' is subjective. I have Atom, and I love it. I have Sublime too, and to be honest in my opinion the difference is not noticeable.
3. Open source again. This time for security reasons.
4. Most people would rather not pay $70 if they don't have to.
Sublime is a great program. But that doesn't mean it has to be the only program.
Note: I also have multiple tabs and multiple windows. Running stable and responsive. Most of the time when I have issues with Atom it's due to outdated/incompatible packages.
Note 2: IMO I strongly prefer dev tools to be open source. We're developers, what better way to show we care about the open source community than to use open source software for our daily tasks. A lot of people working with the application can also work on the application. It just makes sense.
That seemed like a good solution to DRM encryption.
At the end of the day though, people can just record the input on their sound card if they really wanted...
