Re:Show HN: Email Analytics Meets Machine Learning on Friday September 20, 2019 @04:14PM (#21030775)
It will show you some suggestions right away. But I think changing something like how you write email takes some effort to be mindful every time you write an email. I’d suggest checking back every month or two to see if you are making progress.
Yes. We are only able to support English at the moment. We are looking for training data in other languages for things like politeness.
We have the Enron data set loaded into a VM ready to use if you use Python. It's on our blog somewhere. We also used the Jeb Bush data set and the Sony data set from wiki leaks. If you'd like, we can help you with setting them up. you can email me at [email protected]
Hmm this could be neat. What's the limit of things you'd deliver?
Re:Ask HN: Who is hiring? (March 2015) on Sunday March 01, 2015 @01:47PM (#9128340)
Engineering at Boomerang - Mountain View CA

If Lifehacker is your first stop on the Internet in the morning, you have strong opinions (either way) about Inbox Zero, you once wrote an ode to the Pomodoro method, or you've convinced all your friends to use [insert to-do list software or calendar software] or better yet, convinced them all to use Boomerang, we'd love to meet you! We are a fun (we did a workaway in Iceland) and exciting, profitable company in Mountain View CA.

We're hiring:

* Python developers

* Mobile developers

* Web frontend developers

And any combination of those!

Re:Announcing Google+ Events on Thursday June 28, 2012 @07:43PM (#4174524)
I tested that with a yahoo address yesterday. And the yahoo address never showed up on G+ event page as Not Responded even though there was no error when I entered it. And I checked the yahoo mailbox and there was no invite email.
Thanks, amirmc. This is great feedback. We will probably point About Us to Baydin.com home page directly.
Reporting back from what our support team found out about this download issue: If a user has his default download folder set to an incessible location (for example, a second drive that has recently failed), the auto-install script will have trouble.

Just drag the .crx file into the Chrome window if you're having the same issue.

Anyone wants to give us a testimonial? Send me a note [email protected] :) You'll be in good company with Andrew Carnegie!
Use showhn as beta code if you want to download. ======= Hey HN, We just launched Boomerang Calendar (private beta) and would love to get your thoughts. It helps you see your availability from your inbox and streamlines scheduling meetings.
Re:Poll: How many generations removed are you from immigration? on Monday September 05, 2011 @02:32PM (#2962978)
Double immigrant here. I am 0 generation in US and 2 generations back in Burma. Grandparents moved (more like escaped from Japanese invasion) from China to Burma.
