The entire economy will become part of the tech sector so this is kind of self-defeating.
At this point I'm so jaded that I can't trust anything in this as its from vanity fair of all places. Not a place known for quality journalism.
> with the most notorious pedophile on earth?
Go look at the emails. It kinda shows Elon was clueless about what the island was about.
Also he wasn't notorious at the time.
> What exactly are you defending here?
Ah you're going to accuse me of defending pedophilia now? Figures with your type.
A bunch of the Model S production vehicles did ship with the capability. It was removed from later models. So that part absolutely shipped. Tons of cars on the road to this day still have the hardware in the car to support it.
And they did build one pilot station that did the battery swaps and did some swaps with real owners cars, but drivers didn't like the idea so they abandoned it.
And yes to my point, I said Tesla product, namely something that is sold to customers as is. So yeah it's relevant.
Still hasn't failed to ship either.
He didn't even go to the island (or want to go to the island other than to have a party).
JB Straubel married in 2013. Unless you're 13 years old, JB Straubel isn't your father.
That kind of liar is what I would expect of someone who goes around claiming Elon's a Nazi though.
There was no wire rig either as there's nothing above the car...
The preorders converted over. It's the same product in effect.
What do you think this product reveal was for? The roadster.
That wasn't a product they were going to sell to customers.
This was a product reveal for the new second generation Roadster though?
Cybercab is operating already on the roads? They're building the factory for mass producing them right now.
Optimus robot is still in development.
I think calling it a scam is a crazy thing to say. Tesla has never not (eventually) shipped a product they said they would .
Also yes you can legally sell it. Whether you can legally operate it is a different question.
You can't formally verify the soundness of something that inherently necessarily relies on hardware implementations that themselves could be faulty.
Well you guys don't talk much on X, which is the center of AI-positive attitudes. I would expect AI-negative response on other social media platforms as they are very prevalent in those spaces, especially on Reddit and Bluesky.
It's just a failure to understand. People treated like running agents is like running any other pieces of software you wrote. You don't normally need to defend from attacks from pieces of software you wrote. It's basically treated as almost completely trusted. If you just treat it like it's possibly compromised and put up some minimal walls around it then it won't break out.
How many years will go by before people will stop talking about the CSAM thing that happened for only a few days as if its still happening? FWIW, it's bad it was generated, but equating it to harming of real children I think is not a good thing.
And methane is a large percentage of all power production in the US. So again that also applies to all the other data centers. (And FWIW they've been winding down and shutting down the on site methane generators.)
And no corporate code was handed to AI models.
Why do you want to stop this? Data centers are not some enemy of the people.
And how will building data centers wreck the planet?
I'm glad to see this. Anti data center propaganda is rampant right now, with large amounts of it proven to be pushed by China to slow down American AI companies. We have tons of oil processing facilities, way more than data centers and they use way more water.
I would not class this as government protection. More just leveling the playing field.
Complaining about anti-white discrimination is not being a white supremacist. White supremacy is about thinking white people are superior to other races.
There's no evidence that he is a white supremacist.
There's literally a slide for those questions on the website.
https://www.spacex.com/spacexai/starmind160 square meters, which if ran in optimum conditions would reject between 100 to 150 kilowatts.
Micrometeorites is not a significant concern. There aren't that many of them and 100% reliability is not required. If one is hit then you end of life it or de-rate it (i.e. shut down some of the processors or underclock them) appropriate to the lost solar energy or lost radiating power.
Server clusters already replace racks every 5 years or so and dispose of them. (It used to be ever 3 years.) How is this any different?
I2P don't ideologically vet their users nor does Signal. A/I Collective does. That's kind of the pointe of all this.
Being against facism and racism is centrism, being part of an "anti-fascist" or "anti-racist" group is radical left. If you're part of a "group" that has stated goals of pushing something that is already a norm then its pretty clear what what you're doing is not pushing for what is already the norm as if it was the norm you wouldn't need to push for it.
Anyone who told you that any laws of physics are being broken is lying to you.
They didn't have any IP or assets. He did it because he and JB were already working on doing the same thing and it was better to join forces rather than set up two paper companies competing with each other.
