It's worse to call out racism than it is be racist. This is American politics today in a nutshell. Your turn.
I can believe that this film would have trouble finding an audience.
On the one hand, I'm a huge fan of Alex Gibney's documentaries and I would normally be enthusiastic about a new film. On the other hand, I find Elon Musk utterly loathsome and, more importantly, completely uninteresting beyond his loathsomeness. I just can't work up any desire to spend a few hours with the man.
Compare this with You Can See Everything. I think Elizabeth Holmes is a fraud, but at least she's an interesting fraud.
[Hmmm, this was briefly flagged/dead?]
I don't hate Tesla either. I'm actually a bit disappointed knowing that I will never consider buying one for the rest of my life.
> That's outside America's scope
We know, we know.
For the same reason that you could tell a joke without feeling the need to explain it.
I imagine that some?/many? customers of a locally-owned coffee shop are choosing it precisely because it's not a soulless megacorp. They're choosing a different vibe on purpose. Ugly AI advertising is the opposite of that vibe.
True, in the sense that right wing extremists apparently have no agency and no responsibility for their actions or beliefs.
To be intellectually honest, please name a few open communists infiltrating the other party.
It's ok to keep our personal problems to ourselves.
How can you be sure that the undo stack is in sync with the clipboard? Wouldn't cut+paste be a more reliable pseudo-copy than cut+undo?

Mosey Parker began as a personal project. I use Citi Bike regularly in New York City, but I don't love their app for finding available bikes and docks. (And the less time I spend in Manhattan traffic squinting at a screen, the better.) I decided to build something I found easier to read and more efficient to use.I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Citi Bike is only one of many operators...
My iOS app using MapKit is smooth with ~4k annotations on an iPhone 14. My experience is that it doesn't really start to choke until you get closer to ~10k.
I'd like to believe that real books would get swapped more often than stolen.
The Empire Strikes Back: "I'm your dad."
Still, if you're going to buy a car from an enemy of liberal western democracy, you might as well buy BYD over Tesla.
I drive a manual Mazda 3 because I like the greater feeling of connection to the machine, but also because I think it makes me pay more attention. When I rent an automatic, it feels like a (literal) blunt instrument in comparison. I understand the appeal of (semi-) self driving, but the whole idea still makes me nervous. I can't really imagine sitting in a car doing nothing for long stretches of time but still being alert and ready to take control at any random moment.

Can stochastic parrots understand irony?
If this exploit has nothing to do with AI, why haven't we heard about it succeeding before? I find it hard to believe it's never been tried.
And yet your observation, contradicted by actual statistics, is apparently justification for 'IMO the "powers that be" panicked and drove the population into mass hysteria.' It's mysterious.
There have been over 100 million cases and over one million deaths in the US. Congratulations to you and your acquaintances for being extreme outliers.
Many Americans were traumatized by being asked to wear a mask because they’re big angry babies. Many other Americans were traumatized by the discovery that they’re surrounded by big angry babies.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this administration thinks it sounds more manly.
I think that depends on what the "extreme body modification of an unprintable and life-altering nature" was.
It's safe to assume that racist young Republicans contribute more to the difficulty of being black in America than vice versa. What's your point?
