You are wrong!

Okay, the banks might cause more carbon emission than blockchains. But, the banking system serves the whole world, providing services for 8 billion people. But Blockchain is still a niche thing.

You might say, no, Bitcoin is not niche, Blockchain is used by a lot of people! Then, you are wrong again. The media is talking about Blockchain all the time, but it is indeed a niche thing. No one is using, say Bitcoin, to buy real physical stuff, cryptocurrency is not taking part in the people's real life.

So, my point is, if Blockchain is adopted by the world and replace the banking systems, it will definitely emit much much much more carbon, I am saying orders of magnitudes more.

I've add support for a bunch of other search engines.

Currently, the script supports 42 search engines in total:

Google, Yahoo, Yahoo Japan, Yandex, SearXNG, StartPage, Brave, DuckDuckGo, Ghostery, Presearch, Metager, 4get, LibreY, Stract, eTools, Mojeek, Yep, Torry, Qwant, Ecosia, Oscobo, GOOD, All the internet, AOL, Info, OceanHero, Swisscows, Lilo, Entireweb, GMX, YouCare, Murena Spot, Nona, Exalead, Seznam, Gibiru, Lukol, GiveWater, Excite, WebCrawler, MetaCrawler, Dogpile

The script also removes Yahoo redirection URL and extract the real URL of search results.

The script can not only used for redirection to privacy-oriented alternative frontends, it can be used for any URL modification tasks.

The advantage of this script is this can finish URL modification seamlessly after every search, and change the displayed URL correspondingly. It's much more intuitive and convenient.

You can find out all the URL modification rules (RegEx) I used here: https://github.com/domeniczz/URL-Modifier-for-Search-Engines...

uBlacklist can only block sites. But Kagi can raise or lower sites in pagerank, and can pin sites on the top. Boosting sites up in the result is more efficient than blocking spam sites one by one.

I am using custom instructions and have built several GPTs.

I have discovered that ChatGPT just keep forgetting my system prompt.

For example, I ask my custom GPT[0] to always print 3 follow-up questions regarding the current topic after responding. But it just keep forgetting.

I found that if I upload images, there's a 99% chance that ChatGPT will forget to print the follow-up question. I don't know why. And I'm wondering that, when it forgets to print the follow-up questions, does it still remember the other system prompts I gave it?

You definitely have control over what you get from YouTube. You can delete certain type of videos from your watch history so that such video will disappear from the recommended list. Pretty easy. As for regulation, mega-platforms like YouTube are facing pressure from governments from all over the world, and each government has its own concern and requirements. It is pretty hard (or impossible) to come up with an explicit policy that satisfies every user and government.

But the article has a paywall, can kagi summarizer bypass the paywall itself?

When I was using Bing AI or Google Bard to summarize an article, they often refuse to do so because of paywall or some other reasons.

Softwares may have a lot of undiscovered bugs, but it's still way more dependable than humans. And, bugs in softwares are also written by humans. So, imo, we just transform the risk of human driver to human programmers while transforming to autonomous vehicles.
