I was not logged in to Amazon when I first checked the links. The prices when not logged in were 2.99 and 4.99. When I logged in, the prices became .99 and 2.99.
When I checked the Amazon US links, they're priced at 2.99 and 4.99, respectively. Are the .99 and 2.99 prices available to some countries only?
It took me a while to login. I tried to register but it says my email was already taken. Could it be you still kept the accounts from Twidlit? Anyway, I was able to recall my password and was able to login.
For feedback, I suggest you make it easy for users to give you feedback. The Contact Us link in the footer isn't noticeable. I will give more feedback as I use the app.
Congratulations on the release and good luck! More power to Philippine Startups! =)

Thank you for all your replies. I'm learning a lot from them. I think I'd move towards hiring a promising junior dev to help me with my tasks. But I'm not yet sure if I'll have the dev work fully on the consulting side or the startup side. It might depend on the type of consulting work needed.
I guess my problem is also really because I'm a one-man startup. So finding a co-founder or startup team to help me on the startup side could solve my problem. Or it might be another problem too...
I do Java consulting (anything Java-related). When I was still an employee, I was freelancing on the side. When I resigned, I continued freelancing. An old client (from my freelancing days) hired me as a full-time consultant during that time and I've been working with them on different projects ever since. The client is aware of and fully supports my startup activities.

I'm doing consulting to bootstrap my startup. Business has been great these past years. My problem is it's taking me so long to release my product. I also have a couple of other ideas that I can't find time to work on. The immediate income gained from consulting is very tempting for someone with a wife, a kid, monthly expenses, and mortgages. Consulting became the priority and startup work...
Great issue!
Side note: I just discovered the "Reflow" view in Adobe Reader. It converts the PDF to a single column for easy viewing at a large magnification. The layout gets messed up sometimes but it's alright for me. My problem before was I had to scroll up and down a couple of times on a page to read all the contents (3 columns) in fix width view.

Hi. Quick Survey. Would you use (and subscribe to, small monthly fee) a web+mobile service that makes you focus on just one task a day? You enter the tasks and it will randomly select or pre-select a task and prompt you to do it for the day (MVP)? The idea of doing one task a day isn't really new. I even saw a Mac app already doing this. But I still haven't seen a web version. Thanks!
I'm getting a 404 Not Found on the zip file link.
Thanks for this! I already sent my pitch.
Thank you for all your replies. Many suggested Outright, Less Accounting, and Quickbooks. I tried all of them. They're not simple enough for me. I like Outright but what's missing (and the most important feature for me) is the ability to generate the three most important financial statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement. Outright can generate an Income Statement, but it's more tailored to US requirements. It would be great if the financial statements can be in Excel format so modifications, like typing in a header, will be easy. The three financial statements are very important for me because I need to submit them annually to the government. Also, it gives a picture of my business.
I think I'll go for it! =) MVP will be doing simple bookkeeping and generating the three financial statements. These are the basics of accounting. I guess even if nobody buys it or subscribes to it. I will still end up with something I really need. Thanks again.

Hi. Do you think there is still a market for another online bookkeeping/accounting SaaS app? My idea for the app is to be a bare basics accounting system for freelancers, micro-isvs, and small businesses. I'm a one-man startup registered as a sole proprietorship. I am required to submit annually my financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) along with my tax...
Thanks for this! Now my only problem is being able to sell my apps. I'm from a country where we can't create Google Checkout merchant accounts so I can't sell apps in the Android Market. I hope this changes soon.
I could try this but I can't distribute my free app through Android Market. They only allow apps that use Google Checkout for any form of payment processing. But I can just exhaust all possible channels to distribute my free apps and have a site where they register and pay via PayPal (PayPal is the simplest and easiest way for me to receive international payments right now). Thanks for this idea!
I'll check this out. Thanks!
I'm from the Philippines. I don't have a specific country for my target market. My apps are mostly productivity apps. I'll check out Handango. Thanks!

I'm from a country that is still not allowed to sell Android apps. Probably because we can't have Google Checkout Merchant accounts. I developed a couple of apps that I'd like to sell. What are my other options? Thanks!
Great list! I'm installing some of the apps now.
This is a great tool. Thanks!

Hi. My webapp is a good example. It's
http://www.SignAppNow.com - a simple and easy way to create sign up sheet. You can immediately use it without registering and there is no limit to the number of sign up sheets you can create. If you want features like editing your sign up sheets, custom url, and so on, that's the time you can register. Thanks!
Thank you for your comments!
There is already a freemium version. You can create basic one-time disposable sign up sheets for free. There is no limit to the number of sheets you can create and you don't need to register to create sign up sheets. If you need to edit your sign up sheets and other non-basic features, that's the only time you need to create an account. I guess the site doesn't clearly tell this message. I'll assess and redesign. Thanks again!

Hi All! Please review my startup - http://www.SignAppNow.comI released the free, no registration required version (minimum viable product) last July 2009. I received feedbacks and feature requests and recently implemented them as a basic one-time fee paid version (with registration) for $9.95. There's a 30-day free trial period. Was offering a one-time fee paid version a good idea? Only one...
I just deleted my 0 karma Plurk account a month ago. I deleted my Friendster account (I'm from the Philippines) last week. I "MIGHT" delete Facebook next.
