Show HN: AI-Powered Zettelkasten Using Pinecone and Claude MCP

https://github.com/logicalicy/ai-zettelkasten-lite

This is a prototype I'm using daily. I built a Zettelkasten-inspired note system that uses vector embeddings to suggest connections between notes. It combines a Zettelkasten-like system with semantic search via Pinecone. When you add a note, AI suggests which existing notes it relates to. You approve the connections, and it maintains bidirectional links automatically.Unlike traditional...

Ex co-founder chiming in: was a great experience, with all the expected highs and lows of starting up. Lots of lessons learned and the post captures some of the things we went through behind-the-scenes. Most important of all, we both look back on the experience with positive memories. Please do read!
FYI — this is a follow-up from my previous JLPT-N5 and N4 free eBooks from the other week: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=25744261 I've tried to improve the quality of the eBooks based on your feedback, thank you!

FYI — I increased the font sizes in version 2!

I'll need to blow up the cards for sure, make them more visible. Expect a second version in the next days. I'll look into vectorising them too... it's been a bit of a technical challenge but hopefully it's not too difficult!

Thanks, this is very useful feedback! Will work on the layout and formatting, as you suggest. I admit, they are quite small, the pictures. I'll try to have less words per page in the next version (and large font!). フィードバックありがとうございます。

...and, yes, anime is the way to go!

There are companies that have two career streams: technical and management. If you go down technical, you might become a principal engineer, etc. If you go down the managerial, you can pursue a director role. If you feel your company isn't offering that and is unlikely to, you can look for such companies.

Note however, I think a bit of management is inevitable as you become more senior. Being senior means you often have the knowledge and expertise to multiply your team's output through interactions beyond individual contribution. By this I mean, bringing senior expertise to the table when planning, being part of the long term strategy and roadmap discussions, involving the team, seeking out contribution for your projects, etc.

Editor.js — this is awesome! Thanks for sharing.

react-potion I suppose is a possibly less feature-rich but Notion-like/targeted block-based design system in that regard.

Notion is great for writing content but also has a nice design system for blocks-based design. react-potion attempts to replicate some of the benefits that Notion offers.

Disclaimer: the project isn't affiliated to Notion.

Made a little project that I'd love to get feedback on.

The Notion ecosystem is thriving with new and excellent Notion-to-website tools. Each has its own unique approach. Pageably's approach let's you augment your Notion pages in ways you otherwise couldn't, like adding a Stripe checkout button or adding authentication.
