I feel like this sums it up quite nicely:

Re:Deep learning experiments in OCaml on Friday September 21, 2018 @01:52PM (#18041425)
Yeah likewise I hadn’t done a many real interviews before this so I guess I have nothing really to compare it to. I ended up with entirely programming questions rather than generic brain teasers, so maybe there’s a bit of a mixture of questions asked.

I don’t know how long ago, but in my experience of interviewing with Jane Street (at least as an intern), they were pretty upfront about the lack of expected OCaml experience, and I was able to complete all of the on site interviews in a language of my choice. The HR/recruiting team seem eager to improve their process based on people’s feedback, so maybe this is something that took time to get right.
Bear in mind that the vast vast majority of apple's customers have 0 interest in sideloading apps- if you're apple it makes a great deal of sense to trade off security for the masses against a few power users who can't sideload apps occasionally here and there

Another resource I've found really useful is course.fast.ai - it presents a very practical approach to deep learning in a way that would be particularly familiar to someone who has done any amount of programming.

I've heard that Tensorflow is built to take advantage of multiple GPUs automatically, whereas Theano (by default at least) can only make use of a single GPU.
Bear in mind that by requiring each voter to sign their ballot slip, you're reducing the anonymity of the election, since it's potentially possible to prove that you voted in a certain way to sell your vote.
