News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

The "Russia" allegation sounds like an extremely weak & repetitive claim made by people on a certain political side to divert attention away from their bad press for criminal behavior (to include all of the Chinese compromises that were recently revealed).

They're playing a VERY dangerous game, as if they would rather the entire world be destroyed before facing the possibilities of justice (Gitmo, military court tribunals, and everything else that the EO from 9/18 outlined).

The bottom line: the MSM has been full of $&@T for quite some time, and this claim in Reuters is most likely more of the same.

Re:Social Cooling (2017) on Tuesday September 29, 2020 @11:01PM (#24635289)
Replace "social" with "government" in all of these "social" systems, and everything become crystal clear.

That was my best 2 minutes of randomization all week
Right, there has to be some boundaries defined for what's in "reason".

Actually I would tell you to use ed25519 keys instead of passwords lol
THANK YOU!! I have been saying this all along. Glad others feel the same way as I do!

(Re: RISC-V) I hope so!!!
There needs to be a public service for internet search!
Re:Apache NiFi on Tuesday May 12, 2020 @03:52AM (#23151508)
Our devs hated it due to ease of accidental flow fsck ups. And good luck scaling it or trying to put it behind an LB!

Re:The Google Squeeze on Tuesday November 12, 2019 @03:45PM (#21517989)
Google has many services that should become public services once they're identified as a monopoly.
Re:Google are removing URLs entirely from search results? on Saturday November 02, 2019 @11:47AM (#21428291)
It's a move that even sheeple won't like
You have to wonder about the slimy people who advocated for and approved this crap in the school systems. Only in America

Security has never been priority for any of these public VPN providers.

Re:Google Fights Back on Wednesday May 08, 2019 @03:54PM (#19862268)
The F'ing Circle.
Google is an internet monopoly with data and information. I think the only reason they've come this far without being exposed as such was cooperating with the government (learning from Microsoft's mistakes when they were exposed)
Good. They're a scummy company offering a scummy service to a society of self-absorbed users eager to buy the b.s. others are selling or vice versa. Commoditizing people like Silicon Valley companies have done is criminal nearly everywhere but the USA.
Re:It seems that Google is forgetting the old web on Monday April 08, 2019 @11:17AM (#19605943)
I think it is more of a case of google suppressing information to the mass public. Relevant information is becoming harder and harder to find with their search, and let's not forget Project Dragonfly.
Re:PureOS is convergent on Thursday March 07, 2019 @11:15AM (#19329221)
I just hope that better touchscreen / tablet support is realized from the efforts put forth in this project!
Re:We Need Chrome No More on Wednesday February 27, 2019 @12:43PM (#19265138)
Chrome is nothing more to me than a launchpad for (google) ads and a vehicle for surveillance.
