I have a duvet. It turns out.
Another day another US and/or Israel war crime

Glad it has AI. AI has nothing on cars. Save a car trip a week even if electric is way more than 10k queries.

Re:My take on vibe coding for PMs on Wednesday March 04, 2026 @05:22AM (#47245500)
Quick everyone, create decoy repos for them to vibe in. When the feature doesn't appear "oh feature gate system has an incident try tomorrow". Even better make the decoy repo have an insufferable pipeline that always breaks and get them in a loop trying to fix it. An adveserial "red team" LLM can keep it broken! But tantalizingly with different problems so progress is felt.

Oh I forgot to Doom scroll.

Looks like AI slop to me :)

So it could run Doom?
Are frequentists a group that self identifies? Don't scientist use the best tool for the job.
Re:Agentic Engineering Patterns on Wednesday March 04, 2026 @03:07AM (#47244541)
You have to have really good tests as it fucks up in strange ways people don't (because I think experienced programmers run loops in their brain as they code)

Good news - agents are good at open ended adding new tests and finding bugs. Do that. Also do unit tests and playwright. Testing everything via web driving seems insane pre agents but now its more than doable.

Re:Nobody Gets Promoted for Simplicity on Wednesday March 04, 2026 @02:20AM (#47244252)
Yeah that large company promo thing drives me nuts. Perpetual gaslighting "meh... that was too easy lel". Yeah thanks. Often stuff isn't easy but hard to explain why if the solution turned out to look easy.

What is funny is you can dance through the hoops for 3-5 years for promo. Or grind leet for 100 hrs and get it by jumping.

You can screen share from browser so surely that API?
Re:Simple Screw Counter on Tuesday March 03, 2026 @01:46AM (#47228997)
Or a vibrating seperator which can give perfect counts if needed.
Maybe we have a keyword to say we are done talking. Like "over to you". This may be better as it gives you thinking time.

Even a minute if you need it!

And you can get the agent to crunch when you are ready.

Imagine you speak. you need to look something up. find it. speak some more. then "over to you!"

The agent doesn't have to behave like a human and figure out when to butt in.

After all chat rooms and Slack also have realtime 2 way but we didn't worry about emulating that in agent chat. We can be convention breaking in agentic voice chat too.

That would be good. A YC company is paying people to do just this. You know the data is being uploaded, so you can avoid e.g. your kids coming into frame.

Really it should just be in the UI. Click Upload this and get 10c/minute or whatever for the video. Choose what you upload. That'd be closer in effect to using social media.

Lol! The no way round it defense. I'll have to remember that.
Like that lady killed in Minnesota by ICE was branded.
Lick that boot and you'll be dandy
Hacking is so 2010s. Now you just ask big tech for the footage.
"phase"
It is worse:

> The workers in Kenya say that it feels uncomfortable to go to work. They tell us about deeply private video clips, which appear to come straight out of Western homes, from people who use the glasses in their everyday lives.

This simply needs to be criminalized.

Basicially it is a peeping tom.

Re:Parallel coding agents with tmux and Markdown specs on Monday March 02, 2026 @04:05PM (#47224060)
It is one of those things I look and thing, yeah you are hyper productive... but it looks cognitively like being a pilot landing a plane all day long, and not what I signed up for. Where is my walk in the local park where I think through stuff and come up with a great idea :(
I think Windows was a pretty good desktop environment circa. Windows 7. Hardware compatability and just working are huge. If they can get an independent M4 competitor from AMD etc. you would have a compelling reason to switch from Mac (for Joe Average user).

Step 1 get rid of adware

Foolish since a world where no one uses Windows at home will ve damaging for enterprise long term.

I forget the weight is just regular weight not weight on the wheels. Good point.
