Ask HN: How to Teach Mechanical Engineering to Kids
My 8 year old, whom we home school, wants to learn about mechanical engineering. I’m looking for strategies or curriculums that aren’t centered on legos. Where should I start?

Got inspired by this and setup voip.ms and a grand stream for this. Just a “landline” and the monthly costs way lower and you don’t have to use the crappy tin can phone.

Starts off easy, but quickly escalates in complexity and time sensitive issues. The time and resource constraints make this a much more realistic than relaxing game.
