I have always loved the final moments of Trainspotting and Born Slippy! I tried turning them into a small audiovisual experience on the web.Put on headphones and give it a couple of minutes.

Hi folks!I'm Davit. Living in Netherlands already for 4 years and working as a Software Engineer at Amazon/AWS. Lately I've been trying to pass Dutch Speaking exams, which I've passed successfully. But during that process I needed a tool which could prepare me exactly for the Dutch Speaking Exam, give some feedback and make me overall confident. I didn't want to go to a tutor. Re:Ask HN: How do you come up with side project ideas in 2024?
on Monday February 26, 2024 @12:06PM (#39513801)
This is a cliche answer but I think you have to genuinely have the problem or be very near to it to come up with a good idea and afterwards execution.
Throughout my life I had several projects that I've never launched. This time I decided to go till the end and launch this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dutchspeak...
Last year I've been preparing for Dutch Speaking Exams without a tutor (using Babbel and ChatGPT) and I really neede a dedicated app to quickly prepare me for the exam. So this project was born from the my actual need I had.
During implementation though I figured that it's easier to come up with new ideas (as working on something spawns ideas or at least ideas of pivoting).

Currently available only on Google Play. This is my first launch ever, so I'm very excited! Hope to get some feedback. Thanks!
