Constant billboards ruins scenery.
Great, but they look terrible. I won't enjoy seeing these eyesores.

After reading the word "bullshit" about 10 times in 5 paragraphs, a beautiful piece of advice emerged.
The "bullshit" avoided in life should be replaced with something meaningful to you! At the end of the day, a proud man has the realities of his past: meaningful work done, love loved, and suffering bravely suffered. Replace the nonsense avoided with things that matter in a 1 to 1 ratio.
If you're saying blue light is actually a leading cause of eye strain, then how can you conclude that dark mode doesn't help with that? A large white background has significantly more blue light than a black or gray background. It is already known that dark text on a light background is easier to read in general, but with all the blue lights shining in your eyes it is certainly worth it to toggle dark mode throughout the day to let your eyes rest. The light text on a dark background should not be difficult to read if the environment outside the screen is bright enough. Your point about fine details becoming washed through dilation is true, but only relevant if you are reading in the dark. In which case turning on a light fixes that issue entirely.
Dark Mode _is_ good for your eyes, especially if you are feeling fatigued from reading so much text in light mode. Get a toggle dark mode reader for your browser! You don't have to choose one or* the other, but rather toggle as your eyes are feeling fatigued, or take a walk.

I think having a variety of shift options with research on all of them so people can make decisions for themselves would be a cool offering as a company. obviously many other things to consider.
Switching from "hourly salary" to "daily salary" would just be switching from hourly pay to salary. But according to you, hourly workers should be able to work 1hr/day every day and make a living off that, because REMEMBER, speed limits and HOURLY COST TOO HIGH. Apples are red, therefore red cars should fall from trees whenever they want, and moreover, red people should be required by LAW(!!!) to fall from trees. You should run for office.
I wonder if monetization was the only easy way to prevent abuse from the greedy hyper-thieves. Most people who used Z-Library weren't going to buy the books anyway.
The library allowed the hungry to learn while giving the greedy some difficulty. I liked their system. I'm not proud to condone stealing but, in my opinion, people were only stealing from the greedy or the teachers at heart, and the teachers at heart would've given away some of their books for free anyway.
Interesting article. This seems like a normal experience for any regulated industry selling abroad. Maybe this is the writer's first professional working experience ever? Maybe I'm overly critical.

I like my Pixel 5a but I don't want to see all the colored icons of the apps I have. I only want to see their names.I'm now using the minimalist phone app [0]. It lets me favorite 3 apps (have 3 apps on my home screen), but there is a lot of wasted space. After the 3 apps are chosen, all others have to be searched for in the alphabetical list. But I want fast access to around 7 apps.Is there a...

Why not share the math? Isn't this article supposed to answer why it's more economical to use on-prem?

I stumbled across this FBI training resource the other day, (Lawful Access to Secure Messaging Apps Data)[https://propertyofthepeople.org/document-detail/?doc-id=21114562], and was wondering if some domain registrars were more private/secure than others. I know that generally buying domain names is not very private or secure, but are some registrars better than others?
Interesting. Didn't expect Namecheap would start looking like a forbidden fruit

I recently bought an upgraded HP laptop from Amazon. The memory and storage were upgraded by Oydisen Electronics.
After 2 weeks of use, the laptop shut off. In restarting, an HP screen let me know that no OS was detected. I worked through some HP troubleshooting steps and the laptop could not detect an SSD. I tried taking the back panel off to see if the SSD had somehow come loose, but it is...
So, you're living inside someone else's product, yet are upset because you can't personalize it as you please?
Google just changed my entire phone's theming system when I changed the background. I love it! I don't have time to personally pick and choose colors, so I'm very happy with this. Also, it matches the background!
10/10, please don't ask for my consent on this Google, I have enough popups from companies begging for my attention.
