Rails for sure. I don’t see how Django would benefit you if you are already familiar with Rails.
Looks interesting, but I think for a minimal JS framework I'd probably go with AlpineJS. It's pretty much Vue without components.

Yet at the same time, a recent study [1] concludes:

> The results suggested that higher egg consumption was positively associated with the risk of diabetes in Chinese adults.

However, it also states:

> The association between egg consumption and diabetes is inconclusive.

These statements seem contradictory to me, but maybe someone can shed more light on this?

Interesting! The tagline made me think of something like cloud9, repl.it, or glitch.com but it's clearly something different.

Seems like it could be a useful prototyping tool.

This twitter thread[1] suggests that it's possible. But probably best to take it with a grain of salt.

I just bought the book The Baby Owner's Manual [0] since I'll be in your position in ~6 months. I haven't read it yet but it got decent reviews. Curious to hear input from others.

Re:One in Three Americans Would Not Get Covid-19 Vaccine on Sunday August 09, 2020 @12:07PM (#24100535)
Some people are unable to get a vaccine for reasons other than personal choice. The CDC lays out certain conditions for each vaccine where a person should not get vaccinated. [0]

For example, someone who is pregnant or has a weakened immune system should not get the MMR vaccine. It's possible there will be certain conditions for any COVID-19 vaccine as well. These people will have to rely on herd immunity (ideally attained mostly through vaccinations) to ensure they stay healthy. If someone is eligible to get a vaccine but chooses not to, that would be putting others at risk.

Re:Vue vs. React on Friday August 07, 2020 @10:53AM (#24082488)
Vue is easier to get started with. React has more jobs [0]. They are both good choices and have a lot of community support.

Have you tried supplementing with magnesium? Seems to help a lot of people with anxiety, including myself. There also seems to be a link between low magnesium levels and heart rhythm issues.

> The risk of heart rhythm problems with low magnesium levels is particularly high in people who also have low potassium levels. [0]

You can still make contributions to a Traditional IRA [0], you just won't be able to make deductions above a certain income if your employer offers a retirement plan [1].
