For anyone looking to code LÖVE2D games directly on an iOS device, I’ve created an app called love2d-studio: https://marknoteapp.com/love2d-studio

MarkGit allows you to run JavaScript and Python code locally on your smartphone, as well as execute and get the results of various more programming languages via a remote server.

As a developer with similar needs, I have created an app called MarkGit to fulfill those requirements. MarkGit serves as a simple solution by combining a text editor and a Git client, allowing me to code in various programming languages while seamlessly working across multiple devices.

For more information about MarkGit and its features, you can visit the app site at: [https://github.marknoteapp.com/MarkGit/](https://github.mark.... Please note that MarkGit is exclusively available for iOS and is a paid app. However, I genuinely believe that the functionality and benefits it provides make it well worth a try.

Feel free to explore the app further and see how it can enhance your development workflow.

Similar experience on MacBook Pro m1. Sometimes it uses more than 2g ram. Crazy.
Re:Apple terminated my developer account for no reason on Saturday August 24, 2019 @02:19AM (#20785589)
Cannot agree more. This story brings a lot of concern to me.
It is still quite simple, while so far it can run most linux/shell commands and scripts.

One of the limitations so far is, it does not support interaction during the execution yet. For example, if you run a command that asks you to input your password, it will not work ...

Just for fun. Don't use it for evil :)

Re:How to find a remote job on Wednesday August 02, 2017 @09:58PM (#14916370)
Thanks for sharing. But in my opinion, it is more the problem of the management. If the developers can finish the jobs the management assigned to them with quality, why to care how they spend their remaining effort? To make remote working work, a mechanism should be there. This means at least: - Assign reason work load; - Review and evaluate the deliverables;
Has anyone mentioned SQLite?

Re:Material Design Color Tool on Tuesday April 11, 2017 @08:57PM (#14093941)
Yes, it is really helpful, especially useful to match the secondary color when primary color is defined.

Good. I am also using 2 tools: http://designspiration.net/ http://paletton.com/
Good idea! HN is a valuable source for management.
Re:Code anywhere with your lovely iPad/iPhone on Thursday March 02, 2017 @07:04PM (#13779585)
appreciate your feedback. You can create a 'project' with 2 options: - by git clone a repo from a git server or github; - by creating a folder; To code in obj-c, just create a file with extension of 'h' or 'm'
Re:Ask HN: Coding notes – how do you do them? on Saturday February 04, 2017 @04:38AM (#13566391)
I use my own app MarkNote (https://marknote.github.io) to record these kind of notes. It supports markdown, all notes sync into iCloud and shared among all my devices. Really make note taking easy!
