At least he didn't get caught out flogging any made-up 'scoops' during his internship: http://hasrohansilvaquityet.tumblr.com/
Re:Adobe & HTML on Monday April 23, 2012 @06:02AM (#3878055)
Anyone else noticed that this move comes a week shy of the two-year anniversary of Steve Jobs's infamous open letter? (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/)

"New open standards created in the mobile era, such as HTML5, will win on mobile devices (and PCs too). Perhaps Adobe should focus more on creating great HTML5 tools for the future, and less on criticizing Apple for leaving the past behind."

Quick write-up here: http://webdev360.com/amazon-cements-cloud-dominance-with-aws... I like how this isn't competing directly with MS's Azure Marketplace, which seems more focused on data, sector-specific SaaS, etc.

Interesting to note that Pando Daily reported this as a rumour almost three months ago (though they got the announcement date drastically wrong: http://pandodaily.com/2012/01/17/good-news-for-ec2-customers...

Is this new, or has it been around for a while? Usability-wise, it's great.
Re:Adobe to charge Flash coders to use 'premium' features on Wednesday March 28, 2012 @11:25AM (#3766694)
Wrote this up here, with some choice quotes from this thread: http://webdev360.com/adobe-tries-to-lock-in-flash-devs-with-...

Seems like a pretty ridiculous idea to me.
