DDG started to ignore the country preference (the slide button) I set.
I keep it in the off position, that should mean "all countries" but it still shows me results in Italian language, even if I search in English.
Google started doing that years ago, and it's quite annoying since I usually want international results.

I was wondering who uses Unix or Unix-like operating system at enterprise level. The Fortune 500 Company I work for completely decommissioned HP-UX and AIX many years ago.Are there big companies that uses *BSD, Solaris or derivatives today? If yes, why? Is it only legacy or there are specific reasons?
I'm genuinely curious about who uses the Raspberry Pi distro on a x86 computer.
Does it exist only related to the development of the Raspberry Pi OS for aarch64 and armhf or there are people out there that choose Raspberry Pi Desktop as their main distro for their PC/Mac?

IMHO it's a feature that instant photography users are not interested at all.
It's still not clear if the lens is made of glass like the SX-70 or the SLR-680.

I have tens of files open in ST right now and it's using 16 MB of RAM.
I'd suggest some tests without the plugins you are describing.
Despite common knowledge you should not shake a Polaroid picture while it's developing.
It's a heritage from the pack film era during the 60s.
IMHO it’s a bad idea.
Market for bluetooth speakers and music streaming apps is saturated.
Their users base didn’t ask for this and they are unimpressed at best or even hangry.
The Polaroid company of today is a small company. I understand they are trying to diversifying their business and monetize their worthy brand but they are probably just wasting resources and damaging their brand: Polaroid should be all about instant photography not branding some lifestyle electronics from some OEM in China.
They are repeating errors from the past, they already failed two times trying this move.
When talking about hi-end monitor I'm always surprised that nearly nobody list Eizo monitors among the choices.

I think it's not the main point discussed here...
I personally don't think that's fair and more importantly it doesn't solve the problem. You will pay less, true, but you still get a used or poor object. At least to me, that's not appealing at all.
The second note at the bottom of the page says:
"That hardware was too outdated to keep producing in any case, and couldn’t complete in a free market."
So I'd say no, there aren't any large Soviet hardware manufacturers anymore.
If oil prices go up then cracking is a bargain again, so... it's not the solution towards renewables.
You can write to the author and make a suggestion, like I did.
I already sent to eylenburg a small suggestion: after 2016 MacOS X is called macOS.

No, .json file as always.
Honestly, I like it this way: it is easier to search for parameters and the comments over them explain quickly what each parameter does and how it can be changed.
I changed the tabs angles, the theme, the colors scheme and the caret blinking back to look identical to ST3.
Could the portable version do the trick?
Hi, I'm a not native English speaker. I can't understand what do you mean with the word "MUD". Can you explain it for me? Thank you.
What is the meaning of the Unix Feuds and Unix Views posters?
The Unix Magic is pretty straightforward but the other two are - at least to me - quite obscure.
You should try LibreOffice
I'm sorry to see how many people here on HN are commenting debit/credit card systems without really knowing the topic, spreading false notions, clichés, absolute conclusions from personal anecdotes or simply by stating easy stereotypes towards banks and financial institutions.
I'm usually learning a lot from HN but I'm sad to say this discussion is full with low quality contents.
That's an oversimplification that's simply not true everywhere in the world.
2FA doesn't always ask for a PIN, depending on some fingerprinting the payment can be processed without further checks.
