Re:Sonnet 5.5 on Monday September 28, 2026 @02:46PM (#49882609)
Fallback was usually Opus 4.8
Re:Sonnet 5.5 on Monday September 28, 2026 @02:45PM (#49882598)
Isn't that a worry then that the same bench has so much difference in what triggered fallback for one model and what did not in another?
Re:Turning GLM-5.3-Flash into a Jev-like decision model on Sunday September 27, 2026 @08:01AM (#49865933)
Do we have a reliable way to count tokens for Jev yet btw?
Re:Jev Based Code Review on Friday September 25, 2026 @04:17AM (#49841645)
Slop projects to solve slop
Re:GPT-6 Sol and Luna on Wednesday September 23, 2026 @05:54AM (#49813680)
Does the price really matter when you are on subscription? Are we getting more usage or are we getting same usage and the cost for openai is lower?
Re:GPT-6 Sol and Luna on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @03:05PM (#49806469)
He also blogged why he thinks it's still useful
Re:Steam Frame starts at $1059 on Monday September 14, 2026 @06:55PM (#49705372)
Which is actually good, as it includes GST.
Re:Steam Frame starts at $1059 on Monday September 14, 2026 @06:54PM (#49705357)
It includes GST right? US prices are before sales tax.
Re:GPT-6 Astra on Thursday September 03, 2026 @04:28PM (#49556430)
Luna, Terra, Sol, Astra. Though Sun is also a star, should have called it Galaxy or something.
Re:Pollen Robotics (Hugging Face) Microduck on Saturday August 29, 2026 @05:57AM (#49488446)
Weird phrasing "just a toy" for one and "hacker toy" for the other. Beni is actually something you can use more than a toy.
Is it Canadian dollar for US dollar? /s
If you re getting dumber, you would feel like it's all good right? Why would you feel Opus 4.6 is better than Opus 5
Re:Mojo 1.0 on Tuesday August 11, 2026 @03:48PM (#49263488)
Python, but good.
Re:Claude Opus 5 on Friday July 24, 2026 @03:39PM (#49040670)
Claude Code? It stores a memory.md file.
Re:Claude Opus 5 on Friday July 24, 2026 @03:38PM (#49040655)
Opus 4.8 was already shown to be cheaper than Sonnet 5 when Sonnet 5 was released (by Anthropic)
Re:Claude Opus 5 on Friday July 24, 2026 @01:32PM (#49039033)
Which numbers are you seeing? It does show that it's better than Fable 5 in most things related to coding?
Yeah and Bun and Zig are not competing in anyway as well. Zig blog post has been updated as well recently btw.
Because they want a Haiku, Sonnet, Opus equivalent I guess?
Why the name Golem?
Don't judge a book by its cover. In this case, a library by its website.
Re:Claude Sonnet 5 on Tuesday June 30, 2026 @04:41PM (#48738885)
I was talking about enterprise agents and then realized the question is more about coding agents.
Re:Claude Sonnet 5 on Tuesday June 30, 2026 @03:13PM (#48737846)
Which is your own harness and your own evals for your tasks I guess
Re:Claude Sonnet 5 on Tuesday June 30, 2026 @03:13PM (#48737838)
Opus 4.8 high doing better and cheaper than Sonnet 5 xhigh
All a facade no? It's just about regulatory capture.
Re:SpaceX Is Buying Cursor on Tuesday June 16, 2026 @09:02AM (#48554631)
This comment reeks of someone who has not used Cursor, at least in 2026.
Re:SpaceX Is Buying Cursor on Tuesday June 16, 2026 @09:01AM (#48554611)
Fully on Cursor at work and I love it over CC, OpenCode and Pi that I use for personal work.
Re:SpaceX Is Buying Cursor on Tuesday June 16, 2026 @08:59AM (#48554575)
Composer is very good, and these days after heavily using CC, Pi and Open code I am back with Cursor. "No moat or IP" is underrating it a lot.
Re:Valve raises Steam Deck prices by more than $200 on Thursday May 28, 2026 @08:28AM (#48307974)
But many do already own SSD and RAM that they can reuse.
