I think I've just been Angularick rolled.

I think that means you've gone through the stargate and you're now in Alpha Centauri.
Re:Recruiters: Don't say HTML5, you probably don't mean it on Friday February 28, 2014 @10:42AM (#7319318)
HTML5, to me, is all the wonderful new JavaScript APIs, but I'm an idiot. I've never considered "HTML5" to be anywhere near synonymous with CSS3, but I'm an idiot.

Love the full screen background image. Very innovative, you just don't see that very much nowadays. I don't even mind the extra bandwidth it takes as it's very useful, though not as much as the carousel.

Thanks for posting this, I've set a bunch of filters and will be giving it a go.
Re:What happens when an intern tries to one-up Intro.js on Monday February 24, 2014 @01:22PM (#7292405)
Pretty cool, though I noticed there doesn't seem to be a way to dismiss anno4. "Sweet" dismisses the modal background but the "tooltip" stays on screen.

This was in Firefox 27.0.1, didn't try other browsers.

Re:Is it just me, or are others finding HN has problems? on Friday February 21, 2014 @10:37AM (#7277405)
The only problem I have are expired links. Page through the "new" section, someone comes and talks to me, continue paging and pagination breaks and I have to start over. Follow a link off to a longer story, come back and continue paging and pagination breaks and I have to start over.

Really annoying.

This is a pretty interesting concept, why not launch with a broader city-based selection?
For a company so invested in disrupting banks, it's sad to see them going to a massive global conglomerate.

Why would you use the same UI?
How long until they're tagged/useless?

Also, most public transport riders don't want to touch anything. Wonder how often those screens will be disinfected/cleaned?

Re:Show HN: My book on JavaScript Application Design (updated) on Tuesday February 04, 2014 @01:06PM (#7179145)
This actually looks pretty interesting (from the table of contents). Since I'm the first commenter, how about throwing me a bone with a free ebook copy?
