Re:Lazytodo: TUI for todos with Vim motions over md file on Monday February 02, 2026 @03:24PM (#46860940)
I find myself more and more in the terminal and thought it would be cool to have a tui for a todo.md file that me (and claude) can collaborate on.

Show HN: Vim friendly TUI for todos that works with existing md files

https://github.com/magdyksaleh/lazytodo

I'm spending more time in the terminal (ghostty) since moving to claude code. I wanted a quick way to edit a todo.md alongside claude in a tmux pane that I check into my repo.lazytodo is a terminal UI that treats any markdown checkbox file as a todo list. No syncing, no database. Just point it at your existing todo.md.Features: - Vim-style navigation (j/k, g/G, dd, u/Ctrl+r for undo/redo) -...

Re:Why I Chose Elixir Phoenix over Rails, Laravel, and Next.js on Thursday October 16, 2025 @10:41AM (#45605960)
My biggest problem with Elixir is the lack of support for 3rd-party libraries and the small community. I love the idea of it, but every time I try to ship a real project in LiveView, I'm left feeling like the community is not that mature. Maybe coming from a Go backend React frontend stack, that might be the case, but maybe for quick CRUD apps, it's great.
Re:Block your LinkedIn feed to focus on your work on Wednesday August 27, 2025 @03:44AM (#45036625)
I use it to prospect for sales. Otherwise I would prefer not to haha
Re:Block your LinkedIn feed to focus on your work on Wednesday August 27, 2025 @03:26AM (#45036500)
I use linkedin a lot for work, and it's awesome. But a lot of the time I find myself scrolling the feed mindlessly instead of doing the thing I came to linkedin to do. So I (alongside claude code) built this little browser extension to block the feed while keeping everything else the same. It runs locally and you install it directly from source.
Re:Ask HN: Most efficient way to fine-tune an LLM in 2024? on Thursday April 04, 2024 @04:23PM (#39935383)
Finetuning a LoRA based adapter using a tool like predibase.com does this really fast. If you wanna go fully open source and have your own hardware you can do the same thing using a ludwig + lorax stack to do this yourself.
Re:Show HN: LoraLand – 25 fine-tuned LLMs that beat GPT-4 on Tuesday February 20, 2024 @12:15PM (#39443887)
Can you please explain how you were able to fine-tune these models for less than $8?
Re:I Can't Sleep on Thursday December 14, 2023 @06:45PM (#38649080)
Thank you for this great write up that expresses the sorrows and pain a lot of us have been feeling.
Hey! I worked on this and it's great to see it being shared. Check out the blog post explaining more about the project https://predibase.com/blog/lorax-the-open-source-framework-f...
A great framework for serving many fine-tuned llms in production by quickly swapping adapters for the same base model (eg. Llama-2-70b)
I’ve been listening and really loving the hacker news recap. Keep up the good work and please let me listen in different languages!
Re:Show HN: Predibase - Low-Code AI for Developers on Thursday June 01, 2023 @01:56PM (#36154873)
This is really interesting! I'm curious how much hosting a model on this platform would cost for a month?
A big fan of this project! I would be really interested in seeing if you can select a different voice or select the length you would like
