Hi, can we add a "see also" feature to the submitted article, e.g. recently submitted Duffs Device. This is useful because the previous discussions can provide interesting background data.
Assumes the exit is on the periphery and you're not stuck on a loop (a free standing wall in the interior).
Why not?
Is it somehow morally reprehensible? Because it would be ineffective? Do you want the govt to see your dick pics?
I'm curious about about your flat out rejection of this proposal.
The free pdf preview seems to consolidate some of the concepts from the register machine chapters of SICP.
Hot wire anemometers are very, very fragile. Installation on aircraft is not practical - a bug strike would render it inoperative.
Off the top of my head, there are at least two more potential ways of measuring AoA:
1. Similar to your ultrasonic lattice, but using a cone of hot wire anemometers, so that each wire is set at an offset angle to the 'zero' direction. As the AoA changes relative to the cone, the resistance on the different hot wires changes (some wires become more perpendicular to the freestream, thus cooler; others will align closer to the freestream with less opportunity to cool). By measuring the resistance differences with a bridge, it's possible to derive, angle of attack, sideslip and airspeed.
2. An elliptical body with various pressure ports around the circumference, plus a pitot port. The angle of the flow can be measured by the difference in pressure between the circumference ports (and dividing by the pitot pressure).
> From my laymans POV, DNA is just a shit ton of variables in a very complex code that interact with each other. No single point just does a single thing. They all interact with each other. No different than changing a variable in one piece of code and having it create a bug in another that was previously working.
Drew Endy did a lecture this a while ago. It's from one of the chaos computer club seminars.

Samba de Gafieira is like Argentine Tango, but happy.
Not as much as you'd expect. It's easier and cheaper to get a design with windows (and their supporting structure), and not cut out the holes for the windows in the skin.
The resulting structure is going to be only marginally lighter, but also much more fatigue resistant. The savings would show up in the changed inspection intervals.
One of my projects is to create a wiki like site for revenue generation, specifically aimed at technical professions such as architects / engineers / tax accountants etc.
One of the problems considered was how to rate the article content, so I have looked at the various strategies (star ratings seem worse than like/dislike, which seem worse than like only).
My thoughts was to layer a tag taxonomy over each article so that the authority of the author could be determined based on topic, an issue raised at
http://drvidy.wordpress.com/2008/02/18/measuring-article-qua...
I have thought about outsourcing the article generation to the usual places, but I am concerned about creating low quality "content farm".
