Hey thanks! We support QI charging for our Relay+ devices (https://relaygo.com/relay-plus#pip-relay-plus)

Thanks for the shoutout! Product Manager at Relay here. We also have an API if you want to build your own solution with it. relaypro.com/api & api-docs.relaypro.com

Hey folks -

We launched our Relay Button API publicly for the first time, you can see it here: api-docs.relaypro.com. We've had folks use our button for everything from Slack integrations to Remote call buttons and are excited to power the future of Voice Powered IoT solutions.

Our button includes 4G LTE cellular connectivity out of the box, makes it easy to have 2way voice based interactions with cloud services. We're rapidly adding other APIs from our core product (GPS, Battery alerts, Geofencing). HW Pricing is $100/device and service costs are variable depending on use case.

Relay Pro (relaypro.com) is launching a beta for API access to our Relay device. I figured some of you might be interested in signing up and trying it out. Relay is a small portable cellular connected button with API access to GPS, LED Lights, Microphone & Speaker. It's rugged and durable, waterproof and drop resistant. Beta access is free for the first 3 months ($149/year after that).

Stuff you can use it for: Control other cloud connected IoT devices (doors, fans, thermostats), Create a doorbell in a remote location (ask to record their name so you know who's there), Voice search against a cloud database, Audible/LED alerts when thresholds are triggered (think pager with Siri)

If you're interested, you can sign up for early access to the REST API here: https://relaytalk.typeform.com/to/wqJLhY

(We're adding folks in waves, the first one starts in June)

Let me know if you have any questions or just feedback in general!

Surprised no one's mentioned Relay PTT devices. https://relaypro.com Looks like a lot of businesses are using them to replace radios now.

It's even worse if you want to keep an iDevice registered for facetime/iMessage use. You can't toggle it on and off on demand.

There is far too little focus nowadays on extracting this kind of value from life.

I've recently started hosting with 6sync and been very happy with their services so far. It's a lot lighter on documentation and has fewer users than linode. But functionality and performance is there.
