Re:Short session expiration does not help security on Friday August 18, 2023 @10:40AM (#37176305)
This is why I prefer short sessions and requiring frequent, passwordless, biometric authentication. Still relatively low friction for the user, and no password to remember or forget, while still reasonably high friction for an attacker.
Re:Studio Ghibli releases 400 free-to-use images on Thursday September 24, 2020 @12:04AM (#24575134)
I've given this a shot using Pixelmator (https://www.pixelmator.com/blog/2019/12/17/all-about-the-new...)

Expect an email with the upscaled images sent via WeTransfer.

Re:New iPhone SE on Wednesday April 15, 2020 @12:58PM (#22880091)
I’d assume this new SE, like the 6, 6S, 7, and 8 before it, will continue to prompt users during the initial out-of-box setup process if they want to run their display in “zoomed-in” mode, making the resolution effectively identical to the 4” screen of the older smaller phones.

This is effectively an accessibility feature, but Apple proactively prompts users to enable it.

I believe it’s misspelled, but meant to be “think-they’re-technical” as in, describing users who think they are technical.
I've previously seen (but never used) this product to make an iMac USB port accessible from the front: https://www.bluelounge.com/products/jimi/

Tom Scott has a great video on this topic (what counts as a mountain? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8P5a1uqIMw)
...but then you get no notifications whatsoever, except for calls or texts from your contacts.

Maybe this is what some people want, but it's not for me.

Re:iOS 11.3 is available today on Thursday March 29, 2018 @09:11PM (#16712793)
I believe Apple has stated they don't ever throttle the CPU on their current generation iPhones, i.e., they wait until they've been out for a full year and replaced by the next generation.
