Previously, every time I launched a new product, I had to create a video demo to show the users how the product works and often end up with many versions from various angles. Those are tedious and yet hard work since operating the product while explaining how it works precisely according to a script is not easy. There were many back and forth. Once that's been done, editing the video is another...
Quick survey and share my pains in the meantime: - AI video generators fixing one part breaks another - Hallucinated product logo generated in the video
Nowadays Claude Code Opus 5.5 and the like can do a decent job by creating a product demo which is a good start. But the AI smell is very strong and not close to a professional one. And the biggest pain happens when we want to update some part of the video since the AI video generators typically fixes one part but breaks another. So the back and forth is still there.
That's why we build Fluxcut (fluxcut.dev) with a product demo video engine as the filming studio putting together scripting, timeline arrangement, footage section, voiceover, background music and thumbnail so that creators have an all-in-one solution for the product demo.
While we design the engine of product demo video, we do not exclude the status quo agent such as Claude Code CLI which are very powerful. I personally often ask Claude to apply the Fluxcut plugin (https://github.com/Flux-AI-Agent/fluxcut-plugin) to come out an initial version of the product demo quickly. Then I can tweak those parts that requires further improvement. This practice makes creating product demo videos so easy and so much fun!
It's also very easy to update some part of the video, whether it's the script, footage, VO or BGM, since every part is just at hand and ready to be edited. The cool thing is editing some part does not necessarily affect others and things often follow through very well.
For your reference, these are the demo videos we've created for others and ourselves: https://www.youtube.com/@Fluxcut-2026. And the one in our landing page is by Fluxcut as well: https://www.fluxcut.dev
I look forward to your having a wonderful launch soon!
