Hey HN! While everybody is out there tokenmaxxing with loops and graphs, I'm over here trying to get the every drop of juice out of my 20£ subscriptions :)

I thought more people might be interested in my somewhat basic workflow

The insane comments are why I wrote slopocop - they were driving me crazy!

Re:Slopocop: ESLint for TypeScript Slop on Monday August 10, 2026 @03:39PM (#49248638)
Hi HN!

I've read so much sloppy typescript lately, that I decided to do something about it.

Slopocop is a standalone linter for typescript that nudges agents to write better code. So far, I've used it with pretty good results on my own codebases, I tell my agents to "run slopocop against the updated files before committing" and I am finally free of "load bearing", incredibly verbose comments, and other obvious slop.

Hope you find it useful too!

DevContainers have solved this problem for me. If I want to update my site from a different machine, I just need to git clone and open the folder in vscode.

Hey HN! Some of my favorite stories posted on here are about the process of figuring something out more than the end result. I thought that all the pain I went through to fix my project could at least make for an entertaining story I can share as well. Hope you like it!
Re:Ask HN: What podcasts are you listening to? on Sunday August 14, 2022 @05:57PM (#32463370)
- Coding Blocks is probably the podcast that was most influential in my career https://www.codingblocks.net/

- Coder radio for fun and rants https://coder.show/

- Grumpy old geeks for fun and more rants https://www.gog.show/

- The Program was launched here on HN and it's some of the best sci-fi you can listen to https://programaudioseries.com/

Re:Maddy: Composable all-in-one mail server on Saturday June 19, 2021 @09:57AM (#27560488)
I've been using simple mail forwarder (https://github.com/huan/docker-simple-mail-forwarder) for a while now to catch-all and forward any email to my domain to my personal email on protonmail. Advantages are that I can move to another email provider without much hassle, and that I can have a different email address for any service I sign up for. The main disadvantage is that I can't make it look like I am replying from the same address. I wonder if it's something that's doable?
The irony of course is that you're listing three different systems to solve the same problem :)
